00:00You said Malaysia is ready to reinforce and become a centre of excellence for the halal world.
00:08And now halal is recognized in 48 countries, is there any other plan after this?
00:16There are a few suggestions from some countries to relocate or put their factories in Malaysia
00:29to produce halal products and export them to the rest of the world.
00:35This will bring more benefits to Malaysia.
00:41In addition to increasing export value, we will also have job opportunities
00:46and we will also be able to move technology from factories.
00:51For example, when I went to China recently,
00:55there was a roundtable discussion and a dialogue where they wanted to use the Chakim logo
01:08which is accepted by the whole world as a symbol for the international market.
01:18Not only for Islamic countries, but for the whole world
01:23because this logo can be more trusted.
01:27Therefore, HDC has cooperated with Chakim and Matred
01:35to make it easier for the companies to invest here
01:43and hire local workers to be professional and technical for the export of halal products.
01:53This means that it still depends on the Chakim logo to be used for export.
02:03Are there any plans to upgrade from 88 countries to other countries?
02:09Mr. Prime Minister, in every country we visited,
02:13there was not a single country that did not mention about cooperation in halal diplomacy.
02:21Halal has increased to the level of diplomacy
02:26where we are ready to share knowledge for the export of halal products to Islamic countries.
02:35However, there are some countries that still want the Chakim logo.
02:41Therefore, we invite the companies to invest in Malaysia.
02:46I have coordinated with the government to provide land that will be bought or rented by them
02:56for the construction of factories.
02:59For example, Sarawak in Tanjung Mas.
03:06In Tanjung Manis, there are more than 9,900 hectares of land that has been provided.
03:13However, in terms of infrastructure, it needs to be compared to Penang, Perak, Johor, and Melaka
03:24where the infrastructure is already there.
03:27Therefore, I have coordinated it as the head of the Halal Malaysia conference.
