00:03 - Okay, so I had a ball watching college football
00:05 on Saturday and a lot of my watching
00:09 was actually Saturday night because I definitely
00:11 did wanna see Texas play Alabama.
00:14 And naturally the overreaction I think today
00:17 is that Texas is back and Alabama's done.
00:20 I mean, I think Bill that's going a little too far.
00:23 I think, I guess what I would say from watching this game,
00:27 I'm sure you watched it too,
00:28 was I was shocked how poorly Alabama played.
00:31 I think Texas is gonna lose a game.
00:33 I mean, come on, like I don't think they look that awesome.
00:36 I think they looked okay
00:37 and they broke off some big plays.
00:39 I was surprised that the Crimson Tide
00:42 could have spring practice
00:44 and have a head coach like Nick Saban
00:46 and not identify that Milrow
00:48 and maybe even the rest of the offense
00:50 would look as poorly for about three quarters as it did.
00:53 - Or that the same old habits from last year returned.
00:57 The 85 yards and penalties, the drop passes,
01:00 the lack of a power running game.
01:02 Jaylin Milrow's a very good quarterback
01:04 in terms of his playmaking ability.
01:07 I thought the drop pass on a wheel route,
01:09 or he missed him, it's not a drop,
01:11 he missed him on that wheel route.
01:12 That was a game changer.
01:14 But it comes down to me the fact that
01:16 Texas scored 21 points on 11 plays in the fourth quarter.
01:21 Quinn Neuers threw the ball down the field well,
01:23 we talked about that last week.
01:25 Quinn Neuers rose to the moment,
01:26 Texas was aggressive,
01:28 and Texas really took control of that game
01:31 in a situation where we're so accustomed
01:33 to watching Alabama win that game.
01:35 So you have to give credit to Texas.
01:36 I don't think Alabama's done,
01:39 but I wanna know what they're gonna do
01:40 at the quarterback position.
01:41 Will they reassess that with the guys
01:43 they have behind Jaylin Milrow?
01:46 Because that was the biggest separator to me.
01:48 Texas had elite quarterback play, Alabama didn't.
