00:01 I'm here at LG's main booth at CES 2023,
00:05 but there's really one reason why I'm here
00:07 and it is right behind me.
00:08 It is the LG Signature OLED M.
00:10 Let's go take a closer look.
00:12 (upbeat music)
00:15 We're looking at not one, but multiple models
00:20 of LG's new OLED Signature M wireless TV.
00:24 Yes, it is a wireless TV.
00:26 You will not see any cores in sight.
00:28 That is because picture is transmitted 4K 120 Hertz,
00:32 no cables.
00:34 They have a separate box that's called the Zero Connect Box
00:36 and it uses LG's proprietary technology,
00:39 stream the picture with very low issues with latency,
00:43 should really be a perfect experience.
00:45 We've only gotten to see a glimpse of it
00:47 and from what we can tell, we're very impressed.
00:49 So if you can see right there,
00:52 that is the proprietary Zero Connect Box
00:55 that LG is using to transmit picture to the Signature M.
01:00 Now, as long as this is within a 30 foot range of the TV,
01:04 it'll still work.
01:05 You're not really supposed to put it inside
01:07 like a cabinet or anything,
01:08 but you could put it behind a plant
01:10 or find other creative ways to conceal it.
01:12 And all of your peripherals, your Blu-ray player,
01:15 your gaming console, those can all be hooked up there,
01:18 again, away from the TV.
01:19 So you're having that clean, minimalistic look.
01:22 (upbeat music)
01:25 I'd also like to point out here
01:27 that for the sake of this display that they have,
01:29 which is amazing, obviously it has to be a showstopper
01:32 for CES, it's not really doing justice to the panel.
01:35 The panel is only the silver metallic edge.
01:39 The black part behind it, that's just the contraption
01:41 that's moving it up and down for the sake of the show.
01:43 So it really is crazy thin.
01:46 Why a wireless TV is so exciting
01:51 is when you think about a TV from more of like a design
01:53 or aesthetic perspective, having cables is very unsightly.
01:57 And now we're even seeing people who have the space
01:59 for a nine to seven inch TV.
02:01 Their homes might accommodate putting the TV
02:04 not up against a wall, but actually in the middle of a room
02:07 where you could see the back of the TV,
02:09 like almost like it's part of the decor in your home.
02:11 So if you're getting the cables out of that situation,
02:14 you can really have that elevated aesthetic.
02:16 This is definitely a premium customer type of product
02:19 and you're gonna want that premium look.
02:21 (upbeat music)
02:24 Where would you put a 97 inch TV?
02:32 Okay, so Martha was just checking out
02:45 the wireless OLED Signature M.
02:47 So I think it's safe to say that it's pretty cool.
02:51 The Signature OLED M gives us a lot of reasons
02:54 to be excited for the next steps in TV technology.
02:57 That's why we actually named the TV the best of show.
