Fanny's second feature, Charity Ball, released in 1971, received a much warmer press than their debut. The record even received several superstardom predictions. The title track charted and peaked at #29 in the US in November. Fanny toured extensively in support of the album. The accompanying UK tour, supported by Jethro Tull and Humble Pie, was a great success. The style of "Charity Ball" did not differ much from the first-born, and of the covers on the album there was only one track - "Special Care" by Stephen Stills.
