Salty lake scapes dispersed across Western Australia's wheatbelt

Roughly 400 kms north east of Perth, these lakes are the remnants of ancient river systems. The stunning range of colours are the result of a bunch of different factors including sediments, algae and water levels - the lakes fill and drain with the conditions, sometimes overflowing and sometimes baked dry.
