Ingredients:
100 gms Chicken, Shredded
8-10 Mushrooms
1 small Onions, sliced
25 gms French beans, each chopped in the middle
25 gms Carrots, batonnet cut
200-250 ml Milk (less or more according to your preference of sauce)
100-150 ml Pasta water
3-4 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
7-8 cloves Garlic, chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 tsp Garlic powder
150 gms Spaghetti
1 tsp Oil
Grated cheese, 2 cubes
Method of preparation:
Cook spaghetti according to packet instruction. Once it’s done, add oil and mix so that the spaghetti doesn’t stick together. Keep aside. Save some of the pasta water.
Marinate the shredded chicken with salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Keep aside.
Wash the mushrooms and put them in boiling water for 2 mins. This is to get rid of any bacteria.
Slice the mushrooms.
In a frying pan, melt the butter, add chopped garlic and sauté.
Add the onions,mushrooms and sauté well.
Add salt and let this cool down and then blend half of the mixture in a mixer. Use little milk to help blend.
While it cools down, sauté the French beans and carrots. Add salt and black pepper. Keep aside.
In the frying pan, melt butter. Add flour and stir. Add milk, pasta water, mushroom paste, garlic powder, grated cheese, salt and stir to form the sauce.
Add veggies, shredded chicken and let it simmer for couple of minutes.
Add the cooked spaghetti and mix well.
Serve while hot.
