Stumptown Jazz from Portland, Oregon play a classic Jelly Roll Morton tune called Winin’ Boy Blues, a tune about ‘a ladies man, a wanderer’ . Morton probably heard this as a folksong during his younger days while living in New Orleans. However he didn’t record it until 1939 with his New Orleans Jazzmen.
