FAIRFIELD, CALIFORNIA — A woman is believed to be hiding from the cops somewhere in Vallejo, California, after being caught on security camera hurling her pet pug onto the pavement like a bowling ball.

In the video posted to Facebook on December 19, 31-year-old Brandi Chin can be seen grabbing her dog, Ben, by the neck. In a fit of anger, she winds up and dashes him to the ground. A man can be seen coming to the dog's aid, who police say is Ben Perez, Chin's ex-boyfriend. Perez claims the two got into a heated argument just before the scene in the video, and thinks Chin may have taken out her anger on the dog as a means of hurting him.

After receiving messages from the community, local police have taken to Facebook to ask for the public's help in tracking down 31-year-old Brandi Chin, who police say was seen walking around town, swinging the dog by his tail prior to the scene captured on the video. When Chin is found, the local Humane Animal Services department plans to press charges of animal cruelty against her.
