Avalon Goodman 1973
A 1973 clip from a rehearsal for a reunion concert of the Benny Goodman Quartet to be held at Carnegie Hall. There they are Benny Goodman clarinet, Teddy Wilson piano, Lionel Hampton xylophone and Gene Krupa drums. For the occassion they had added George Duvivier on bass as well. After Benny's clarinet intro they swing into Avalon, one of Benny's favourites. Possibly one of the last films with Gene Krupa. He died later that year
