I have followed this band since I became interested and involved with jazz around 1952.
Leader Peter Schilperoort has always been able to find very talented musicians and was capable to have them fit in stylewise in order that his band would be recognizeable throughout the years of its existence.
Next to Peter on reeds the band in 1990 consists of Bob Kaper reeds, Bert Boeren on trombone, Sytze van Duin on cornet, Fred Murray on piano, Arie Braat bass and of course Huub Jansen on drums.
