03:50Salamat po.
03:55Salamat din po sa aliyansa, sa pangunguna po ng Pangulong Marcos at ang aming pong campaign manager na si Ginong Tobi Tiyanko.
04:10And of course sa aking mga kasamahan.
04:12Ladies and gentlemen, fellow Filipinos, good afternoon.
04:22Thank you for believing in me.
04:25Thank you for choosing me as one of your representatives in the upper chamber this past election.
04:37It is the highest honor to serve you as a senator of the Republic of the Philippines.
04:43Today I stand before you not only as an elected public servant, but as a fellow Filipino who shares your hopes, your struggles and dreams for a better future.
04:58In this trying times of economic hardships, social divisions, and heightened political differences,
05:11there is but one powerful force that can carry us forward, and that is national unity.
05:21Unity is not just a concept we talk about during elections.
05:28It is the foundation of a strong and resilient nation.
05:33It is what binds the rich and the poor, the young and the old, the people from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
05:43It is what enables progress, justice, and peace.
05:48Our diversity in culture, in beliefs, in language, it's not a weakness.
05:59It is our strength.
06:02But unity does not mean uniformity.
06:05It means finding common ground, listening to each other with respect,
06:11and working together, despite our differences, with one common goal, to move forward together as one nation.
06:25If we fail to unite now, we may not be able to achieve what our leaders from the past to the present have been working on,
06:37to uplift the life of every Filipino citizen.
06:44As your newly elected senator, I commit to being a bridge, not a barrier.
06:49I will work with leaders from all parties, listen to voices, to all sectors, or from all sectors,
07:00and prioritize laws and programs that will unite rather than further divide this nation.
07:09Thus, I ask my fellow senators, let us set aside our political differences for the sake of our nation and our people.
07:22And let us work together to resolve the problems before us.
07:28We are not enemies.
07:30We are Filipinos, no matter our political colors or beliefs.
07:37Let us move forward together.
07:39Let us rise above politics,
07:42above personal and political interests,
07:45and above hatred.
07:48Let us build a country where every Filipino feels seen, heard, and valued.
07:55United, there is nothing we cannot do.
08:03Mabuhay ang Pilipinas, mabuhay tayong lahat.
08:08Thank you very much, Senator Kulful.
