00:00You know, it's in the Constitution. I think it's the 14th Amendment that gives the right, you know, gives citizenship to someone who's born on U.S. soil.
00:09Where are we with the progress to kind of maybe have a rethink on what the Constitution says?
00:16Right. The 14th Amendment never intended to automatically just give away birthright citizenship to any child born in the U.S.
00:25It certainly excludes children of illegal aliens. That's why there is a, quote, subject to the jurisdiction thereof.
00:34And in Trump's view, this was meant to exclude those who are here unlawfully.
00:40Now, we have a lot of activist judges who've let that one go, and it's never truly been challenged in the courts.
00:48And that has yet to be ruled directly. So I think this is going to be a fight over the next couple of years during the Trump administration.

01:05And by extension, the entire extended family becomes American citizens.
01:10That has been what's been abused and used as a back channel to become American citizen for multiple decades.
01:17And for the first time ever, President Trump is going to be challenging this rule and really getting some clear definition of what the 14th Amendment actually means.
01:26And that's why it's just like America.
