01:19Good afternoon, everyone. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who's come here to make this event.
01:30So, so special for all of us. What is going to happen today, I have never dreamt of.
01:39As a kid growing up, wanting to play cricket for Mumbai, wanting to play cricket for India.
01:44No one thinks of these kind of things. For me, it's like any other sportsman who wanted to try and give the best
01:57and use the best of his talent and ability and to serve the nation, serve the country as much as possible.
02:05While doing that, obviously, you try and achieve a lot of things. You achieve a lot of things.
02:13A lot of milestones are created.
02:14But something like this, it is really, really special only because Vankhadeh is such an iconic stadium and so many memories have been created here.
02:26And for me to have my name amongst, you know, the greats of the game and world's best political leader,
02:41you know, I cannot express what the feeling is.
02:47So, for that, I am really, really grateful and honoured and very, very thankful as well to all the MCA members,
02:59Ajinkya Nayak, Sanjay Nayak, Arman Bhai.
03:03And, of course, not to forget the Apex Council members, you know, for me to honour while I am playing,
03:13it makes it very, very special because I am still playing.
03:15I have retired from two formats, but I am still playing one format.
03:20So, it will be a surreal feeling on 21st when I come here and play against Delhi Capitals representing Mumbai Indians
03:28and to have a stand, it will be a very, very special feeling.
03:31And it will even get special while representing the country.
03:38Whenever that happens, India plays, whichever team here, that is going to make even more special.
03:45So, and to have this big honour in front of, you know, so many people,
03:53especially my family, my mom and dad, my brother, his wife and my wife, who is present here as well.
04:04Very, very special people in my life.
04:08And I am so, so grateful and thankful to whatever they have sacrificed for me,
04:14for me to stand here and talk about, you know, this special day.
04:20And, of course, not to forget, you know, my very, very special team, Mumbai Indians, is also here.
04:26Who I am pretty sure are waiting for my speech to get over so that they can start training.
