00:50And being here in India, Telangana, as a cultural woman myself, experiencing the richness of your history, I want to say,

00:59Miigwetch, which means thank you in my native language.

01:08And miigwetch to my fellow queens.

01:10And as we were mentioning here before, it is truly beauty with a purpose.

01:14And every one of you, you are all so special and unique in your own ways.

01:18And it's an honour to stand up with you here at Miss World.

01:42I am Athena Crosby, and I'm representing the United States of America.

01:47And I just want to express my gratitude to all of you for being here and for supporting

01:52all of us in this incredible journey.

01:55Now, I know that I can speak for myself and my fellow contestants when I say that Telangana

01:59has shown us that they empower women, that they support women, and that they invest in women.

02:05It is so important for our countries to be doing this.

02:10After all, it is 50% of the world's population.

02:13And when we invest in women, we're investing in their children, their communities, and everybody

02:18around them.

02:19And I also hope that by being here today, not only do I represent my country in this pageant,

02:25but I can strengthen the diplomatic relationship that the United States has always had with India.

02:30After all, the United States Constitution and the Indian Constitution both start with we, the people.

02:38So I'm so excited to get to know the people of Telangana.

02:42And I do want to say,

02:49I'm Guadalupe Lomar, and I'm from Argentina.

02:53I never thought that being so far away from home, I would have felt so welcome.

02:59So I would like to thank the governance and the people from Telangana for making us all feel at home

03:05in a place where we are really far away from home.

03:09So thank you, and I also would like to thank all of you because you have gave us a beautiful experience

03:17and you gave us the opportunity to live the culture of Telangana.

03:22It's amazing to have the opportunity to walk towards history and to experience through taste,

03:31through feelings, and also through gaze.

03:55I'm Carol Rodriguez, and I'm coming from Panama.

03:59And something that I really appreciate from India, especially Hyderabad,

04:03because it's the first time I am ever to Asia in general,

04:08is that in Panama, we have a lot of cultures,

04:12a lot of nations mixed in one little piece of land,

04:16and we all feel like family.

04:18We receive everyone with open arms,

04:21and that's why I'm feeling here in India.

04:24Since the day one, from the very first moment I stepped out of that airport,

04:29people really showed love to us.

04:32And I can appreciate more everything that you're doing for us.

04:36Look at all these beautiful people here.

04:38You are here because of us, and you're showing love, kindness,

04:42passion for your country, for your state.

04:44And I'm really grateful for that.

04:46And I hope that you all enjoy as much as we're doing the 72nd edition of Miss World,

04:52which are going to be amazing.

04:54I feel like this is one of the most amazing editions that Miss World has ever had.

04:59And I hope that you really enjoy and live the experience with all of us,

05:04because it's not only about us.

05:05It's about Telangana and Indian people.
