For Julie Bargas, April 1 began as just another day at Frontier Elementary in Edmond, Okla., where she works as a kindergarten teacher. That day, her kids were having recess inside because of windy weather when Bargas was suddenly called to the school administrator assistant’s office. The conversation lasted about 15 minutes.

00:00I saw my whole class of 20 kindergartners standing outside my room in a line with my
00:06assistant principal in front of them and my first reaction I was like what did you do?
00:18I called one of her teacher friends and I said can you help me get the ball rolling on this
00:23and we had a three-way call with the principal. Okay here's what we're gonna do and we just
00:28mapped this whole thing out it took us a few weeks to kind of get everything coordinated but
00:32it was it was amazing everybody all hands on deck and it just shows how much they love her.
00:37Both of us you know went through a divorce. I realized kind of through our divorce that you know
00:43groups of people kind of kind of gravitate toward you and they become your your people. Those were
00:48her people at school and they helped her get through all the hardest times and I wanted that
00:52them to be part of the new chapter kind of coming in. Backing up the night before one of my on my
00:58team another kindergarten teacher she said um well she's always doing stuff for like our social media
01:03and she said we're going to take a team picture so I need everybody to dress up like in a nice outfit
01:09and dressing up and so that morning I'm like showing up I'm like a war dress let's just get
01:13this over with when are we going to take the picture so at lunch the administrator assistant called
01:20me down to the office and she said I need you to help me with something with one of your students.
01:25I walked in the back door of that school they snuck me in as they pulled her aside there's
01:29about 15 minute window that we had they lined the kids up outside the door and they were given
01:34instruction that this is what's going to happen you're going to get Julia ring she's going to get
01:38engaged and she's going to be married but you can't say anything you just have to give it to her and they
01:42each person had the same instruction all the way down the line it was really cool.
01:45I think it was after probably like the fourth kid that handed me the little fake engagement ring I
01:52realized what was happening it was the easiest yes I've ever said and you know realizing everything
01:59that he did to make all of that happen it just made me fall in love with him even more.
