00:00But I want to start today with really the meeting with the Syrian leader, Ahmed al-Sharah.
00:08And what is the significance of this?
00:11The whole Trump tour in the region, and especially the Saudi leg, is outstanding.
00:17It's something that can be seen very easily as a market mover, as a game shifter for decades maybe to come.
00:25But let's take this angle of this meeting with the new Syrian president.
00:31This comes at a time where America is giving strong signals that we are reconnecting with the players in this region within terms that are decided by the people of the region.
00:45And this is what Trump said very obviously with the Saudis.
00:49He said when he spoke about the neocons, the liberals, all those who are pouring money into changing the regimes.
00:55Now he say that now, I mean, the region is deciding what it wants to be.
01:00But then this meeting with Ahmed al-Sharah, who months only ago was considered as someone with $10 million on his head.
01:12Now he is meeting Trump.
01:14And Trump is saying that I'm doing it because the Saudis has approached me about this.
01:19And also because the Turkish president has asked me to do this.
01:24It's a historic image.
01:27And when we talk about the image, I mean, the image of Trump and Sharaa is a cliche for history.
