Competitors trying to shear sheep against the clock, using old-fashioned blades (as opposed to electronic shears)
Transcript
00:00Judges ready, here is go!
00:30Judges, when they use those blades, which is basically a bit more scissors that can take a round of shape and it takes a lot of skill for the machine to take the ball off, and then you get a little bit more skill to take the ball off of a set of blades.
00:47These blades are first four to the seven hundred to go through for Birmingham Hall and Brown Sheffield, but they still make the blades that we see being used today, up there in Sheffield.
01:00There are millions of sheep still through all over the world with the blades in the high country of South Africa.
01:07They use the blades to leave a little bit more protection from the sun, the sheep don't get sunwork, and can be very far with luck.
01:15Then the high country of South Africa, in Brazil, they use the blades before sharing to leave a little bit more shelter, and a little bit more cover of all the sheep.
01:25The sheep won't be a time to take the balance in the shelter, because they use a bolt in here.
01:31There's a lot of sheep still through.
01:34In the south of Wyoming, it's really great.
01:36Again, to leave all the federal boards, we give them a little bit more protection from the Amish weather conditions up in the hill and country.
01:44So, as I said, the Shearney sheep, with the blades, takes a lot of scale, I think.
01:50The record holders, in the Northern Highsphere, have all been sharing around the 200 sheep per day in 30 minutes, which takes a lot of years to share in these.
02:04There's huge sheep here to be all the bearing on the floor.
02:09The style is even a bit different to what we've been doing so we've been achieved, so it's a very well-being style.
02:15A little bit more brightly ripped, so you can see this nearest your ruler putting away around the rig to the back row.
02:22Then you'll do it along the row, one inside the back row, and then your chair will come down the other side, which will be a mirror image of the first side.
02:32And you'll see the way that they're using these blades, and the way that they're going to keep their eyes working.
02:38With the Shearney sheep here, it'll be crushable on them.
02:42This is very difficult, but the big blade shearney is going to be able to cut the wall.
02:47So if you look at the Shearney sheep here, every time they come through the blades, everybody in Casano City, all the way up in their eyes.
02:55And if you need to run the way through their shoulders, it's working hard, and you'll see that those muscles will bring its heart and tense as they're made in their way around the skin.
03:07Then to the left hand, you've got to take that skin nice and tight, so that the blades travel over the top of the skin, without causing any skin dust or necks.
03:19All right, our judges on the boards are looking for anything to go, we're having a good wall.
03:24Which is when we produce an electrical stable of the wall, which devalues the wall, so we're trying to keep this high as possible.
03:33Let everyone know the team of judges at the back, as we go to any other competition, we're looking for anything.
03:38We're looking for a nice, level, even finish, between 5 and 15mm of wall.
03:53We're looking for that nice and even, no steps, not on the skin on the earth, we're looking for a nice, level, flat finish.
04:02So these guys now have been working for about 4 minutes, and we're looking for halfway on their first sheet.
04:09It's a very physical job, a very difficult and skilled job, and it's great to see 4 very competitive chairs, competing in this.
04:19Also the great chair of the final, the Northern Irish, you know, champion.
04:27We're looking for a young man, the perfect thing he used to play this year again.
04:34Steven Wilson, the company's one-hander, the Chief of Schirer, and the County of Schirer.
04:40He's taken it to the rest of this experience field, and he's going for it.
04:45He's having to run the hunt today, he's had a good start to this person.
04:49And he really does mean to keep the team working together and put his place on that grade level in New Zealand.
04:57But the future that he's got his way past his format team ended.
05:02Sam McConaughey, as I said, is representing all the United Syracite.
05:07World Championship players, he was a very famous player here.
05:10Sheamus has been there, he's great to see Sheamus back and competing on the boys in the Royal Arsenal.
05:17We have seen her last year on Park's Hill Street, so she's great to see Sheamus Park as a whole.
05:25But that given an unclosure pressure on, his team will be up for.
05:30I want to stand number 4, Lord Steve, for the first, to be able to see Sheamus in the first.
05:36Yes.
05:37I hope you have a great day, to be a great day.
05:40We're going to be a great day.
05:42We're going to be a great day.
05:44I'm going to be a great day.
