00:00Police have confirmed a collision between a Royal Malaysian Navy vessel and a tourist
00:10boat in the waters off Langkawi near the Teluk Baru jetty on Thursday evening.
00:16Langkawi District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shariman Ashari, said the incident
00:21is believed to have occurred at 4.34pm.
00:25It involved a naval vessel conducting a training exercise with five officers and personnel
00:30on board and a tourist boat anchored near the shore.
00:33Two Navy personnel were sent to the hospital for further treatment.
00:37No civilian injuries were reported, and as of now, the police have not received any official
