00:00The government hasn't provided me with any timeline and I do know that the Standing Committee
00:07of Attorneys General has met on a number of occasions since the Burden DP decision.
00:13What I'm pushing them to do though is it's not the first time that Victoria has gone
00:17first when it comes to legislation and this is not an easy conversation to have, but Victoria
00:22has led the way when it comes to reform in this space and it's time that they did it
00:26again.
00:27I think it's an important ambition to achieve national consistency, however that should
00:33not stand in the way of ensuring survivors have access to justice, whatever form that
00:38takes in the interim.
00:40What we didn't hear today in the debate was the vast number of survivors who are impacted
00:50by the Burden DP decision where they have been abused by volunteers in organisations and particularly
01:01in community urbanised attitudes.
01:08people who are impacted by communities so they can't have access to justice as they are
01:11in a different sense.
01:13And so, we're all going to union and that.
01:16And that is how we live now, if we're very open to the provincials that are associated with
01:26their need for work.
