Commandos, Drones Deployed As Intruder Breaks Into Bengaluru Pub, Prompting Major Police Operation

An armed robber broke into a Bengaluru pub, sending police into a tizzy in the early-morning hours of Monday, May 12. The robber who was allegedly carrying a pistol sneaked into Geometry Brewery and Kitchen in Bengaluru's Rajajinagar II Stage. A major police operation was launched in order to nab the thief. Commandos from a quick response team (QRT) surrounded the building and drones were deployed to monitor movements on rooftops. However, the robber managed to flee with INR 50,000. Videos from the spot showed commandos carrying assault rifles entering the building to find the thief. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter from all angles.
