00:01Dan, your first goal for all the shot. What an occasion to do it, Wembley.
00:05Yeah, unbelievable. What an occasion to score.
00:09Obviously, the whole team was brilliant going down in the street, so that's it, yeah.
00:14Thoughts on the game generally?
00:16You had to try and break them down, didn't you?
00:21In the second half, you came out of the traps.
00:23Yeah, on the first half, we controlled the game, just wear them down a bit.
00:26In the second half, it kicked out those holes that were created from them tiring.
00:32In the end, it just looked like a brilliant performance.
00:35I mean, they could have had a problem maybe before the start, but they didn't.
00:38Yeah, that's it.
00:40What was the message at half-time? Just be patient, keep moving it and wear them down.
00:43They were going to tire.
00:45Yeah, I mean, move it a bit quicker was, you know, and, yeah, just move it a bit quicker, yeah.
00:52Yeah, Nelson Jack gets the first goal. And then the second few, is that sort of a routine you work on regularly?
00:57Or you just, you know, got the near post and flicked it in?
00:59Sorry to say that again, mate.
01:00Was that a routine you work on from corners, or was it just getting across the near post?
01:04Yeah, it was really. Actually, we worked on it yesterday, and I was kind of thinking, like, this kind of suits me.
01:09And, yeah, obviously, yeah, absolutely.
01:12Now, for you, a goal and a clean sheet, and a trophy, I mean, that's tick, tick, tick for the day, isn't it?
01:17Yeah, perfect day. Perfect day, man. Unbelievable. And the Shots fans were amazing.
01:22It felt like the whole stadium was full of Shots fans, that's what it felt like to me, so, yeah, brilliant.
01:27What was it like when you sort of walked out the tunnel before the game?
01:29Is that when it really hit, either in the warm-up or walking out for the game, you know, when you see that red and blue?
01:34Yeah. Yeah, when we walked out for the warm-up, and then, yeah, we just started, I started to, the nerves went away as the game went on,
01:40and just kind of felt like a normal game, and it was, yeah, it was a brilliant, brilliant occasion, yeah.
01:45Yeah, it was even just a few minutes to sort of get into it, and then it's like a normal game, and then just game mode kicks in.
01:49Yeah, 100%, yeah.
01:51How have you found sort of the build-up this week? Because it's sort of been, obviously, you've known it's such a big game,
01:55but try to sort of treat it as normal as much as possible, so, yeah, how have you found the week, you know, leading up to today?
02:01Yeah, I mean, we're kind of just business as usual, as we always prepare for every team,
02:06and that's, it's good to not change everything, and, yeah, it's worked, so there you go.
02:11Yeah, and when that final whistle goes, I mean, at 3-0, you kind of, obviously, you know the game's won,
02:15but that sort of realisation, you know, that you've done it, won at Wembley, you know, first time in the club's history here, sum that up, yeah.
02:22Yeah, amazing feeling, I mean, it didn't settle in, but it was absolutely unreal, 3-0 at Wembley, I mean, we, yeah, when it was 3-0,
02:29when it was 3-0, you kind of knew it was over, but it's unbelievable, like, even, like, when you're 3-0 up,
02:34and you're passing the ball around and keeping the ball, it just, it's an unbelievable feeling, and the Aldershot fans must be so happy,
02:40and that's, I'm so pleased with it as well.
02:42Yeah, presumably, those last couple of minutes, when it is 3-0, you can almost take it in a bit, almost,
02:46and sort of appreciate, you know, what's happening.
02:48Yeah, a little bit, yeah, we can take it in a bit, I mean, yeah, we can take it in a little bit, sort of, yeah.
02:53And just sum up the change room, sort of, now afterwards, must be absolutely buzzing.
02:56Yeah, we're all buzzing, and, yeah, great, great end to the season, and down in shops history, so, yeah, so happy for the team,
03:04so happy for us, and, yeah, unbelievable.
