00:00Gents, good to meet you. Two of my favourites, really, across British TV.
00:04You say that to all the boys.
00:06I bloody well don't. I mean, I loved Red Riding and Ashes to Ashes, Line of Duty,
00:12probably the best series of Line of Duty they had.
00:14Massive fan of the History Boys back then.
00:16Massive fan of the History Boys.
00:1720 years ago, yeah.
00:18Huge fan, oh yeah, and only that.
00:20Huge fan of Dogs Who, looking forward to, what was it?
00:22The War Between the Land and the Sea coming up.
00:24Oh yeah, okay, we can have that.
00:25I've got you, I've got you.
00:26Years and years.
00:27Yeah, thank you.
00:28Well, we're here with Suspect.
00:30We're here representing Suspect, the shooting of John Charles de Menezes.
00:33The shooting of John Charles de Menezes, yes, of course.
00:34Yes, and we're very proud to be doing that.
00:35We're presenting Best Scripted tonight.
00:37There's a couple of shows in there that have brought about social change,
00:40Mr. Bates, The Post Office, and maybe Reindeer.
00:44I mean, that brought about a lot of talking about political things
00:47that were involved in that, and we're proud to be doing that.
00:50Yeah, a really strong category, so hopefully we don't screw it up.
00:53We haven't been told who's won, have we?
00:55No, we haven't.
00:56All that.
00:57What's your expectation with the show coming to Disney Plus?
01:00These kind of shows, these big kind of expensive tent peg shows,
01:04they used to be, if it was on BBC One or Sky or whatever it might be,
01:07or HBO, there's all this build up.
01:09It starts in one country, then launches in another country,
01:12and then it kind of builds from there.
01:13The show's suspect.
01:14It's kind of like, you wake up one day, it's all over the world.
01:18Yeah.
01:19What kind of like, how does that feel as an actor?
01:21Like, the kind of feedback you get from people, like, what's your expectation?
01:24I think a story as important as suspect, you know, the shooting of John Charles,
01:29is vital to get onto the screen.
01:32And the fact that it has such a wide reach on a platform is a wonderful thing, you know,
01:36because you want to get as wide an audience as a subject on that as possible.
01:41And I can't keep you here for too much longer, but a word on this Doctor Who spin-off.
01:45We've not had a Doctor Who spin-off in a long, long time.
01:47And as a Whovian over here, it's quite exciting.
01:51What, can you tell us anything?
01:53What's it been like being back with Russell and back with that team again?
01:56I love Russell so much.
01:57Yeah, it's the third time I've worked with him.
01:58You've worked with Russell Davis.
01:59You've never worked with him, no.
02:00He would love you.
02:01Have a word.
02:02Yeah, I will, have a word.
02:03It's going to be brilliant.
02:06Like I say, I had the best time on it, and they've really gone for it.
02:10And finally, I saw your old mate James Corden knocking around.
02:14I think he's moved back over here, I think, recently.
02:17What's up being live for you guys?
02:19Being able to reconnect?
02:20James is here tonight, right?
02:22Yeah, I think so.
02:23He's nominated, right?
02:24I think I saw him from a distance, so he might be.
02:27He's nominated for that little show, Gavin and Stacey.
02:29But you're in that as well.
02:30Yeah, yeah.
02:31He didn't mention that, did he?
02:32He didn't mind about he ain't got any material.
02:36Yeah, great to be on the same time zone.
02:38Lovely.
