00:00James Matthews from Sky News.
00:02Can I ask, why Brazil and why now?
00:06And you've described this deal as a full and comprehensive deal,
00:10and yet we've just heard from Mr. Mandel,
00:12so it's the end of the beginning.
00:14Clearly, there's much more work still to do.
00:17With respect, are you overstating the reach and significance of this deal?
00:21Because you're a President who needs a result at a difficult time.
00:25I think that it's a great deal for both parties.
00:28It's for us. We've opened up.
00:30I didn't know how close it was.
00:32Quite close, the market, as you know, the UK.
00:35And it opens up a tremendous market for us,
00:38and it works out very well, very well.
00:41And a lot of assets, you see the chart, and those are tremendous assets.
00:47But we've been trying, and when you say, why us, meaning your country,
00:51we've been trying for years, and they've been trying for years to make a deal,
00:55including when I was in the, you know, first term.
00:58It would always be people talking, but they weren't getting it done.
01:02But for 25 years before that, they were trying always to make a deal,
01:07a very significant deal.
01:10I actually, until I looked at the numbers, I didn't realize this is a very conclusive deal.
01:15But we think we can grow it even from that.
01:17But this is a maxed out deal, not like you said it.
01:20You said it really incorrectly.
01:23This is a maxed out deal that we're going to make bigger.
01:26And we make it bigger through growth.
01:28But we have tremendous assets involved.
01:32I was surprised to see how big your country is in trade.
01:35Actually, one of the biggest in technology and so many other things.
01:39It's agriculture.
01:41I really didn't know.
01:42It's, depending on your definition, it's from four to five to six.
01:46It's pretty big in the world.
01:48So I was very impressed by that.
01:50But we're going to take it to new levels.
01:53It's a very big deal right now.
01:57But I think it is going to grow.
01:59Just of its own volition, it's going to grow.
02:01And over time, there'll be changes made.
02:04There'll be adjustments made because we're flexible.
02:07We'll see things that we can do even better.
02:10But it's very conclusive.
02:12And we think everyone's going to be happy.
02:14And the people of your country are going to be very impressed with the result.
02:20And they'll be able to buy from more people.
02:22They'll be able to price things differently.
02:24They'll be able to get some products that aren't available to them now
02:27that we make better than anybody in the world.
02:30And it's just something that it's a great thing that it came together.
02:34It's so nice because we have many countries who want to make a deal.
02:39And many countries are very unhappy that we happen to choose this one,
02:44to be honest with you.
02:45But it's a long time.
02:47Our oldest ally, or just about,
02:50I guess a couple of people claim that too.
02:53But let's put it right at the top.
02:55I think it's going to be something very special for UK and special for the United States.
