00:00Ref! Ref!
00:03There ain't no afternoon. There ain't no tomorrow.
00:06I need everything, Will!
00:09Ref! Ref!
00:21Number 20 came with Will Simpson.
00:2424 hours till I step on stage.
00:3125 until I break some sort of donut world record.
00:35One day till one dozen.
00:38Put that on my shirt.
00:39So today's macros are supposedly 161 grams of protein,
00:44432 and a half grams of carbs,
00:47and 75 and a half grams of fat.
00:50Coach is coming over right now to see how I look
00:52before I can have breakfast.
00:54But here's the majority of the foods I've been eating.
01:00Yeah, okay.
01:01Lots of water.
01:02Same thing from the last video.
01:04Chicken rice, sweet potatoes,
01:06more chicken breast,
01:08carb sources,
01:10Gatorade powder,
01:12rice cakes.
01:14Took a celebration cookie from the plane
01:16to celebrate when this is all done.
01:18And then I had to go to the store
01:20last night
01:21to get some more olive oil,
01:23some maple syrup,
01:25and some almond butter.
01:27Quarter turn.
01:30How's your sourdough feeling?
01:32Better. Better. Good.
01:34Do you feel flat?
01:35Yeah.
01:36Because you kind of look flat,
01:37and I want to push you a little harder in the morning here.
01:39See how we're looking midday.
01:40And by this evening,
01:41I kind of want to be just tapering down a little bit.
01:42Let's go ahead and add a cup of syrup.
01:46Yeah.
01:57Yeah.
01:58All right, man.
01:59I've never seen someone get so excited about syrup.
02:01Oh, man.
02:02Okay, so meal number one is looking like that.
02:06In here, there's four ounces of chicken breast,
02:09eight ounces of sweet potato,
02:10one cup of vegetables.
02:12We remove the tablespoon of olive oil.
02:14We also have two rice cakes,
02:16and then I'm adding 30 grams of maple syrup,
02:21and then a quarter teaspoon of salt.
02:25It's crazy how tedious this stuff is.
02:30And I never really understood people getting sick of foods.
02:33I can tell you I'm not going to eat any of these things
02:37for at least three months when this is all done.
02:41Maple syrup.
02:43Okay.
02:4530 grams.
02:47I feel like the smart idea is to put it on the sweet potato
02:50because the rice cakes are already sweet.
02:53Oh, my God.
02:55That's a lot.
02:5730 grams.
03:04Wow.
03:05I'm celebrating.
03:06I feel like today's going to be one of those days
03:10that's just going to drag on.
03:12It's going to feel like such a long day
03:14because you just want to get to the show tomorrow.
03:16I feel so many different emotions right now.
03:19I am very nervous.
03:21I'm also the most in my head right now.
03:24I keep on looking at my physique in the mirror, and I'm like,
03:26yeah, this is not it.
03:28This is not it.
03:29But apparently it's normal.
03:30But there's so many things that we have to do today.
03:33A lot of cool things.
03:35I'm getting a tan.
03:36I've been desperate to get him a tan.
03:38So that's going to be super cool to see.
03:47I put Will on a meal plan at about 10 days out.
03:49One of the reasons is to minimize the variables.
03:52I want to take control of those because if we have too many
03:55uncontrolled variables, it leads to a greater chance
03:57of something going wrong.
03:58We do have syrup, which Will is very excited about.
04:00But that just supplies fast sugar to help carb load him up faster.
04:05We have things like sweet potatoes, which also have carbs,
04:07but high potassium levels, which can also fill him out a bit more
04:11since it's stored more inside the muscle cells.
04:13We have things like salt to help increase blood volume,
04:16help him get a pump.
04:17But you don't want too much salt because otherwise that can cause
04:19them to get a little blurry and spill over.
04:21The syrup's giving me like shivers in my thighs.
04:23How do you feel it in volume?
04:24Oh, my toenails are curly.
04:26We are at the gym.
04:29We are at the check-ins.
04:37177.2.
04:39177.2.
04:40Awesome.
04:41Okay.
04:42All right.
04:43Probably be a middleweight, but I don't want to say
04:45for sure until you go.
04:46Yeah, absolutely so.
04:47That's often not a middleweight.
04:48No.
04:49Don't think you're going to be like, whoo!
04:51I found out later that day that 177.2 pounds would put me
04:55in the men's heavyweight division.
04:57Got a little swag bag.
04:59I'm number 24.
05:00Definitely doubt there's many calories in here.
05:04We got protein powder for my numbers, for my thong, and now we have to go get our polygraph
05:12test to see if I'm alive or not.
05:14All right, Will, so we're going to be doing your polygraph exam.
05:21This test today is about the anti-doping and the bent substance list for the WNBF Canada.
05:27So please, just have a seat over in that chair.
05:29Okay.
05:30I'll come put that stuff on you.
05:31So it's like quite the set up.
05:33We'll start by putting two things around your body.
05:35This first thing is going to go around your stomach.
05:36So, Will, just lean forward a little bit for me.
05:38Lift up your arms.
05:39Just going to do this up on your side like that.
05:41I'm going to put this blood pressure cuff on your left arm.
05:44So just stick your arm out.
05:46Thank you so much.
05:47Two things on your fingers monitors galvanic skin response or perspiration from the bottom of your hand.
05:52Of course, the blood pressure cuff on your arm.
05:54And we'll get started.
05:59All right, the camera now is recording and this test has begun.
06:08Regarding the WNBF banned substance list, do you intend to answer truthfully each question about that?
06:15Yes.
06:16In the last 10 years, have you taken anabolic steroids, testosterone, growth hormone, or any other 10-year WNBF banned substance?
06:25No.
06:27Have you taken clinical diuretics or ephedrine in the past three months?
06:32No.
06:35Have you used any prohibited items on the banned substance list since their respective prohibition date?
06:41No.
06:42We passed the test.
06:44I'm sure people are going to be like, Will's a psychopath.
06:47He just cheated the system.
06:49No.
06:50But now it's time for the tan.
06:52Will Tannison is about to check in.
06:54I'm so excited for this.
06:55You're going to roll up the wiener sock and you're going to make a little basket for your wieners and beans.
07:01Okay.
07:02And then once you're in the basket, obviously you put everything in the basket and then tighten the sock.
07:07Okay.
07:08Yeah?
07:09Yeah.
07:10Oh my god.
07:11I want to see myself.
07:12I haven't even seen myself yet.
07:13Can you flip the camera?
07:14Oh my god.
07:15I look like an Oompa Loompa that just did a crash diet.
07:20Wow.
07:21I don't want to go pick a vampire.
07:23So I took the sock off and told them to spray a little bit more on the downstairs.
07:34It's an optical illusion because I am feeling a lot more confident.
07:36Here are some physique shots after weigh-ins at 177.2 pounds and first coat of tan complete.
07:42I really can't believe I have another tan later this evening where I'll even get darker.
07:47Okay.
07:48Is that a tricep?
07:49Good.
07:50You look sharp?
07:51Yeah, I do.
07:52Really sharp.
07:53Yeah.
07:54Yeah.
07:55That's good.
07:56Yeah.
07:57You feeling sharper too?
07:58Like tighter?
07:59Yeah.
08:00Definitely.
08:01Okay.
08:02How's the stomach feeling right now?
08:03Empty.
08:04Empty.
08:05Empty.
08:06Okay.
08:07Let's do, do you have something we can write this down with you?
08:10Let's do six ounces of sweet potato.
08:14Four ounces of chicken.
08:17One fourth teaspoon of salt.
08:22One tablespoon of olive oil.
08:27I want to see how you look after that and see how you feel.
08:30Okay.
08:31We're giving you more fat, more protein in this meal.
08:32Okay.
08:33It should kind of sustain a little bit longer.
08:34Yeah.
08:35The sweet potato will give you a little pump of potassium.
08:37So you just looked at my physique and then determined what I'm going to eat.
08:41What were the reasonings behind the choices?
08:43When we woke up this morning, you were a little bit flat.
08:46Yeah.
08:47But you've had a lot of carbs over the last 48 hours.
08:49So we know the flatness isn't stemming from a lack of glucose.
08:53We're probably pretty good on carbs now.
08:55We're just kind of focusing towards fat to recycling intramuscular triglycerides,
08:59getting sodium up to get your blood volume up.
09:01Yeah.
09:02So you'll be able to be a little more pumped without having to risk spilling over.
09:07No, no problem, man.
09:08You're almost there.
09:09Seriously.
09:10I know.
09:11I know.
09:12It's tough.
09:13I'm mentally fatigued right now.
09:14Okay.
09:15Eat that.
09:16Rest.
09:17Get off your feet.
09:18If you can doze off for a few minutes, rest.
09:19Okay.
09:20I'm good?
09:21Awesome.
09:22Last meal done.
09:26I think it's the last meal.
09:29Unfortunately, we are almost there.
09:34Getting close to the end.
09:36I always think about this story when I was younger and I was doing math homework with my
09:41mom and we were sitting on the couch and I just wanted to get it over with because I
09:45wanted to go play video games.
09:47But she was so insistent.
09:49She was always so insistent with me making my homework the best I could ever look, go above
09:54and beyond.
09:55And I would get frustrated because I was like, Mom, this is not a big project.
10:00This is not an exam.
10:01This is just daily homework.
10:04And then she says to me, are you planning to put your name on it?
10:09And I was like, yeah.
10:10And then she's like, well, whatever you do, big or small, be proud to put your name on
10:17it.
10:18I didn't really think much of it at the time.
10:21I think when we're young, we never really do.
10:23And then we grow up and we kind of look back at the lessons our parents taught us.
10:27And we're like, hmm, there's validity to it.
10:30It makes sense.
10:31And that's why now every single thing that I do, I give it everything that I got.
10:40If I set a goal, every little tiny thing up to that goal, no matter how small it seems,
10:47it's like I'm putting my name on it.
10:49So with this prep, every time I went to the gym, I was like, well, do you know what?
10:57This might be my last one.
10:58We're all going to have a moment in our lives and you got to be ready for it.
11:05And the way that you're ready for it is that you treat every single day as if you're putting
11:09your name on it.
11:10There's so many people in this world, man, that want something difficult and they want
11:16to stay comfortable and they have no patience.
11:19I see so many kids in this fitness game.
11:22They're lifting for two years and they start complaining about brain fog.
11:27The fact that, you know, they don't feel good because they're staying shredded
11:31and they still want to build muscle, all these stupid things.
11:34And then they go on TRT.
11:35I'm like, what the fuck are you doing?
11:38What are you doing?
11:39Like this shit takes time.
11:42This does not take two years.
11:44This takes 10 plus years of hard work, dedication, consistency, discipline.
11:53There's no motivation because motivation comes and goes.
11:55We all lose it.
11:56We all get it.
11:58Discipline is everything.
11:59Discipline is showing up no matter your emotional state.
12:02Discipline is showing up to the gym no matter how long or hard your day was.
12:07You're going to show up and give it everything that you got.
12:09It doesn't have to be your best workout of all time, but the best that you can do that day.
12:14And if you are not prepared to put the years in, then bodybuilding and fitness is just not for you.
12:22If you find something that you love, you will realize what trying is and what trying is not.
12:28And if you love it, why would you want to rush it?
12:33I think there's such a beauty in going through these phases of life.
12:38You know, you're going to have to put on some body fat.
12:41You're going to not be shredded all the time.
12:44That is okay.
12:45That is sometimes what you need to do.
12:47Because guess what?
12:48Your physique that is under that body fat is there.
12:51It's always there.
12:52But you've got to build to show it off.
12:56Why rush?
13:00No matter what I say, no matter what I do,
13:03no matter how I could try to prove the fact that what I'm doing is natural,
13:07there is always going to be people out there that don't believe me.
13:11And that is pretty fucking cool.
13:14If one of you out there are watching and believe that,
13:18and know that what this is, it's real, and it's attainable,
13:23it shows you that you can build a physique that you're proud of, that people can doubt,
13:29and you do not have to turn to steroids to do it.
13:31You don't.
13:33You need to put the time in.
13:34You've got to show up every single workout.
13:37And don't look at this end goal.
13:39Look at it as little building blocks to get to a certain point.
13:44I'm competing for the first time ever.
13:47And I've been lifting for over 10 years.
13:50Over 10 years of hard training.
13:53And I'm doing it now.
13:55That is what it takes.
13:57That is what it takes.
13:58And for the people out there who do not believe me sitting on the couch,
14:01you have the ability to do it too.
14:03But you just won't stand up.
14:04And that's where I gain the advantage.
14:06Checkmate.
14:08And going into tomorrow, I know that I did everything that I could possibly do.
14:15And I don't care what happens.
14:18I am so damn proud of myself.
14:20For being here.
14:22For going through this process.
14:24For being a kid who was not confident at all.
14:27To stepping on stage with a tan and a damn thong.
14:30I'm gonna give myself a pat on the back.
14:31I've come a long way.
14:32Gotta get to bed early.
14:33Early morning.
14:34And then it's show day.
14:37Wow.
14:38The day is finally here.
14:52I can barely believe it.
14:53All of the months of preparation is finished.
14:54There's really nothing that you can do.
14:55So the only thing I can really do is enjoy every moment of it.
15:07First backstage meal.
15:10We have one rice cake, two tablespoons of almond butter.
15:14This is like a dream I've had before.
15:16But instead of a spoon, there lies Antonio.
15:20This can't be real, it's only 21 grams.
15:46I was in heaven with my single rice cake and almond butter.
15:49A ratio I don't think I've had since middle school.
15:51The next thing we needed to do was put together an anabolic cocktail.
15:54That I'll be sipping on until I hit the stage.
15:56Breaking bad backstage.
15:58Wow, that's a lot.
15:5940 grams of course?
16:02Yeah, I can't believe that should be about 40 grams of course.
16:04And then salt?
16:05And then a pinch?
16:06Yeah, just like a little pinch there.
16:08There you go.
16:09Very nice.
16:10Beautiful.
16:11What's the biggest mistake that you've made backstage?
16:16Honestly, just doing wild things.
16:18The biggest thing I see is people always thinking you're flat.
16:21And then they start trying to pound food and pound carbs.
16:23And it's like, I've seen guys just pounding pasta backstage.
16:26You're like, I'm flat, I'm flat.
16:27I need some fettuccine Alfredo right now.
16:29Yeah, the pasta won't even digest in time.
16:31And it's like, now you're walking out there with a belly full of pasta.
16:34I still can't get over my tan though.
16:39It's so weird.
16:40On the bright side, it makes it look like I brush my teeth a lot.
16:45I'm with my man Andy.
16:46You people need a middleweight bodybuilding?
16:47Yeah, middleweight bodybuilding.
16:48Yeah, and look what he shows up with.
16:50Gotta get him the Boston cream!
16:52Yeah.
16:53I'm sorry.
16:54The post show weight gains on you.
16:55It's your fault.
16:56Yeah.
17:01You doubled up on the Boston.
17:02Yeah, double up.
17:03I love that.
17:04You and Katie can enjoy it.
17:05It's nice because it smells like cold chicken breast and Tupperware back here.
17:07And this just kind of brings me back to reality.
17:10Almost there.
17:11Yeah, almost there.
17:12Best of luck.
17:13You too.
17:14You got this.
17:15Looking great.
17:16Yeah, you too man.
17:17The vibes backstage are so good.
17:18It's like everyone's competing against one another.
17:19But then everyone at the same time is just so supportive and encouraging.
17:23Which is really cool to see.
17:24So, it's fun back here.
17:26I thought time was going to go by slowly, but it's going by fast.
17:30You're going to go into the chest up room in here.
17:32You're going to de-roam and you're going to get to see a magic match.
17:36Magic motion.
17:37Magic motion.
17:38Magic motion.
17:40Nice.
17:41Nice.
17:42Nice.
17:43Nice for you.
17:44Nice.
17:45Nice.
17:46Nice.
17:47Nice.
17:48Nice.
17:49Nice.
17:50Nice.
17:51Nice.
17:52Nice.
17:53Nice.
17:55The nice.
17:57Nice.
17:58Nice.
17:59Nice.
18:00Nice.
18:01яти.
18:02You're at the end of the end of the game.
18:03It wasn't the end of the day.
18:04I'm not going to get your route to a bike down top.
18:05The new ride.
18:06The new ride of the day is a new ride.
18:07Like, I'm not sure what kind of creature I look like, but it's definitely not human.
18:10And take a look at this hairline.
18:11That needs to be fixed immediately.
18:13I never really realized how much tan is required for bodybuilding.
18:17I feel like I look like a rotisserie chicken in a Speedo.
18:19But the reason for such a dark tan is that it increases contrast.
18:23Darker skin creates strongest contrast between your skin and the natural shadows casted by
18:27your muscles, making lines, cuts, and separation stand out much more clearly.
18:32It also evens out skin tones, such as redness, which can distract from muscle definition.
18:36That's good.
18:37Now turn around.
18:41There you go, Will.
18:42Ready to rock and roll.
18:43Thank you so much.
18:44Yes.
18:44All the best to you, too.
18:46Yes.
18:47Yeah.
18:47But I can't.
18:52How are you?
18:53Hey.
18:54Check it out.
18:57I wanted those glute lines so bad.
19:00We got them.
19:01And we got them.
19:01We got them.
19:02We're gonna...
19:04Do you want to be able to, like...
19:06Go ahead.
19:09Can't go a little bit?
19:10Yeah.
19:10Seems hot.
19:11Let's see if it's a longer.
19:11Ah, well, thanks.
19:12Great.
19:13Great.
19:13Oh, well, thanks.
19:14Let's get some water.
19:15No.
19:16Let's get some water.
19:16Thanks, Ray.
19:25No.
19:26Bye.
19:27Bye.
19:29Bye.
19:30Bye.
19:30Bye.
19:31Bye.
19:31Go right there.
19:45Yes.
19:47Awesome.
20:01At this moment, my nerves were kicking in like crazy.
20:20My heart was pounding, but being around these guys definitely helped ease the tension.
20:24A couple of them have competed many times before, so they kept the vibes light and just
20:27reminded me to enjoy the moment.
20:31I'm going to show you some more.
20:34We might be in the back of a little tennis video, and that's pretty cool.
20:39No, that's me, that's me.
20:40See?
20:42The only thing I forgot was the fireball.
20:44The fireball downstairs.
20:46Okay, we'll all have to sit back.
20:49Yes, sir.
20:50Yes, sir.
20:53Let's go.
21:01Let's go, guys.
21:02Good luck.
21:03Let's go.
21:04Good start.
21:05Good luck.
21:06Good luck.
21:07Have fun.
21:08Go, guys.
21:09You're going to go to center X.
21:10You're going to strike one pose in your class.
21:12Okay?
21:13Follow her instructions.
21:14So far, some of the things she's asking for are getting into your poses quickly, and when
21:19you're doing abdominal thigh, no vacuums.
21:20No vacuums.
21:21No vacuums.
21:22Yeah, she's saying no vacuums.
21:24Yeah, we're going to fall down.
21:25You're going to fall down, right?
21:26Yeah, we're going to fall down.
21:27You're going to fall down, right, right?
21:28That's right, right?
21:29Like we're in the middle of the road and we're facing back.
21:31We're going to fill the entire tunnel.
21:32We're going to take the phone toel.
21:33Do you want to take it, and do you want to take it.
21:34You don't want to take it?
21:35Yeah!
21:36You want to take it?
21:37Yeah, everyone!
21:38Yeah, everyone!
21:39Thank you, Don.
21:40We're going to see you next week, so we're going to see you next week.
22:10Gentlemen, can I have you come to the front line?
22:20Quarter turn to the right.
22:30Quarter turn to the right.
22:36Quarter turn to the right.
22:44And I have number eight, number 24, three places.
22:52Front double by step.
23:03Quarter turn to the right.
23:13Side chest.
23:19Get into your poses.
23:23And relax.
23:29Side triceps.
23:33Come down.
23:35Come down.
23:39You want to go.
23:43Side double bicep.
23:45Who's out there?
23:47Side chest.
23:49Take up.
23:53Start the chest, side tristep, hands over head, abdominal thigh,
24:23side tristep, hands over head.
24:43For me, one of my biggest fears of this entire experience was going out on stage to a big
24:48crowd.
24:49I just didn't know what to expect.
24:50But once you get out there, you realize that you can't see anybody because the lights are
24:53just so bright in your face.
24:56All you see are the judges.
24:58And then after around 20 seconds, it all kind of felt like I was just in my living room doing
25:03my posing practice.
25:11Watching back this footage is crazy.
25:13The crowd was pretty loud.
25:14But in the moment, I was so focused that the only person I heard was my coach yelling at
25:19me to make adjustments as the show went on.
25:22As well as the glutes will.
25:23Lats.
25:24Lats.
25:25Lats.
25:26Don't shrug.
25:27Don't shrug.
25:29Don't shrug.
25:30Don't shrug.
25:31Don't shrug.
25:32Don't shrug.
25:33Oh my god.
25:34Wow.
25:35That was cardio, man.
25:36Holy shit.
25:37Good stuff.
25:38How did you say so?
25:39Clean?
25:40You didn't sweat at all?
25:41I don't know, man.
25:42It's so strong.
25:43Yeah.
25:44Oh my gosh.
25:45I was tensing for my life.
25:50The individual routines are anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds.
26:07I think some of you know the song I picked.
26:08Up next, we have number 24, Will Tennyson, Hometown Market, coached by Cliff Wilson, and a special
26:12thanks to his family and his coaches.
26:14Disney Kardashian.
26:15I didn't feel since he did get at the video.
26:16I was sótig doexuosia, too!
26:17I think it's about 45 minutes, and he oluşments deber as friendship based on what we're doing
26:18being able to wear on and adapt.
26:19And, I think it's just lovely when it hits the world's Bizim Oooohhhh in here and
26:20not having fun.
26:21The individual routines are anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds.
26:24I think some of you know the song I picked.
26:29Up next we have number 24, Will Tennyson.
26:31Hometown Market.
26:32I'm getting so sick.
27:02Quite possibly the first bodybuilder to pose to John Mayer, and I will happily take it.
27:26Team Sherry Dia Patriots and Tortillas, and in first place, Will Tessler.
27:42Now, with winning the men's heavyweight division, this gave me the opportunity to compete in the overall versus the champ from the middleweight and lightweight division for a WMBF pro card.
27:52I had to quickly run backstage, hand over my medal, and get ready to come back out for a crazy battle.
27:57All I want to say is that you don't get ready.
28:03Nice and tight.
28:04Can I have you come to the front line?
28:07Uh oh.
28:08Yes!
28:09Yes!
28:10Yes!
28:11Yes!
28:12Yes!
28:13Yes!
28:14Yes!
28:15Yes!
28:16Yes!
28:17Yes!
28:18Yes!
28:19Yes!
28:20Yes!
28:48Sides, triceps, double biceps, double biceps,
29:07double biceps, double biceps.
29:23Can I have 20 and 24s raise?
29:28Hands over head, abdominal thighs.
29:32Both hands over head, abdominal thighs.
29:35Gentlemen, show us your favorite pose.
29:41DJ, can we get some pose down here in the trees?
29:44The overalls literally felt like an hour, and I was starting to get nervous.
30:07In reality, we were only out there for just over 10 minutes.
30:10I could see myself finding it harder and harder to keep my core tight and control my breathing.
30:15It was clearly really close. Some poses, one person would be better, another, someone else.
30:20On stage, I was watching the judges the entire time, and it seemed like they had no idea what to do.
30:25All right, your overall and new WNBF pros, number 21, Joseph, and number 24, Will to the front line.
30:41I was in such disbelief over what just happened that I felt... nothing.
31:00I had no emotion. I didn't know what to feel. It was actually hard to put into words.
31:05Everything was moving at lightning speed since stepping off stage.
31:08It kind of all blurred together, and in the chaos, it was nearly impossible to pause,
31:12take a step back, and truly soak up the moment and understand what it all meant.
31:17Hey, you gotta pee!
31:29That's fucking real!
31:35What I'm gonna get you to do here, I'm just gonna get you to initials.
31:48You're gonna go in there on your own, basically.
31:50What I'm gonna get you to do here is...
31:53I'm gonna take your cup, and you're gonna pee.
31:56That's my product.
31:58Just to show everybody I didn't take pee from the toilet.
32:11Yes, it's...
32:12It's fresh, it's warm, isn't it?
32:14It's warm.
32:15It's warm, yeah.
32:18Awesome, okay, that can go down there.
32:22I need to go see Katie.
32:23You guys are going out for a meal or something?
32:25Oh, yeah.
32:28What's been on the hit list?
32:30What's not?
32:31Yeah, what's not?
32:32I take care of it.
32:33No nuts.
32:38You did it.
32:40You got your phone.
32:42You got your phone.
32:46Did you hear her screaming?
32:47No.
32:48Yeah?
32:49You did it.
32:51Do you want to show me yourself?
32:53Yeah.
32:54I'm sorry.
32:55I'm sorry.
32:56I'm proud of you.
32:57Seriously.
32:58I'm super proud of you.
33:00You pushed hard on that overall.
33:01I saw it, man.
33:02You were digging it.
33:03Oh, I forgot it, man.
33:04Yeah.
33:05Yeah, I was gonna say, because you could have an overall winner, but like, can I consensually
33:08touch your chest?
33:09Because you could have the biggest chest in the whole show, man.
33:12Those are real.
33:13That's fucked up.
33:14Anyways, I gotta get rid of the classic.
33:16It was good.
33:17It was good.
33:18See you guys later.
33:19Good.
33:20Good.
33:21Good.
33:22Great.
33:23One more with the middle.
33:24Hit.
33:25I'm gonna get my son back now.
33:26He did amazing.
33:27Oh my god.
33:28I was dying.
33:29Dying.
33:30I was so stressed.
33:32Everyone show me a muscle pose.
33:47There you go.
33:49It is time.
33:51I haven't had one.
33:52How long has it been?
33:53It's been a while.
33:54Just like six months.
33:55Which somebody was watching today.
33:58Hmm.
33:59Hmm.
34:00Hmm.
34:01Hmm.
34:02Hmm.
34:03Hmm.
34:04Hmm.
34:05How's it feel?
34:07I feel like myself again.
34:08Wow.
34:09I'm glad to have them back.
34:11My dopamine receptors are gonna be wild.
34:14Are we doing them all?
34:16You got it as wine?
34:17Would some of them go away?
34:18That's so good.
34:19Is it...
34:20That's so good.
34:21I'm glad to have them back.
34:22My dopamine receptors are going to be wild.
34:23Are we doing them all?
34:24Wow.
34:25Be good as wine?
34:26Mmhmm.
34:27Some of them don't, but some of them don't.
34:34Do you want to do the fritter?
34:36Yeah, I don't even know what it is. There's bacon on it though.
34:39Oh, I can't have that.
34:41How do you know that has bacon?
34:44I just said it, so I don't need to have any.
34:47She doesn't need pork.
34:49Another thing that I was craving was just a simple protein bar.
35:14I still have not taken this whole picnic.
35:18Okay, made it back to the hotel. Tried to get some of the tan off, but I still look absolutely ridiculous.
35:34But it's nice to be in some quietness to allow myself to process everything that's happened.
35:39But that was the first show. It's pretty cool.
35:42We got a natural pro card, got a gold medal, and we also got a sword.
35:47That is surprisingly pretty sharp.
35:51Bodybuilding, it's an individual sport.
35:55It's just one person on the stage.
35:58But I don't think a lot of people realize, unless you're in it, how many other people are part of that team.
36:04This win, I want to share it with so many people.
36:08Firstly, my wife, Caitlin, she was like the backbone of the operation, keeping me in check.
36:14So without her, really, like, no chance.
36:18Seriously, like no chance.
36:19My parents, my coaches, Cliff and Mikey, posing coach Johnny Shreve, so many other people.
36:26The list goes on and on.
36:27People constantly encouraging me, pushing me.
36:30Even all of you in like the comments on my videos, Instagram.
36:34You know, just really giving me confidence to keep on going when times got hard.
36:40I got some feedback from the judges and it wasn't really anything that surprised me.
36:45I think a lot of you guys probably already know.
36:47Bring up the lats. Lats need to be wider legs.
36:50They weren't necessarily saying that they were not lean enough.
36:53But it was just that I wasn't able to keep them, like, engaged the whole entire time.
36:58And I think that's just me, you know, with my, like, being my first show.
37:01I mean, definitely they could be for sure leaner.
37:03I feel like my upper body, like, definitely kind of, like, helped me a lot.
37:07But I did notice I was losing the ability to contract my legs during the show.
37:14Now we have to deal with the post-show stuff.
37:18To be honest, I am kind of scared about it because I have no idea what to expect.
37:22I've heard a lot of people say that it, like, the real diet happens after the show.
37:27You know, people gain 60 pounds, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
37:33I actually surprisingly don't have any sort of, like, massive cravings right now.
37:37Like, you guys saw me have the donuts and, like, had a couple of them and, like, I'm good.
37:41Had some sushi and, like, I feel very content.
37:45I have no need to go binge.
37:47I really want fruit.
37:48I'm craving, like, egg white omelet with cheese.
37:50Like, just such random things, which is a good sign.
37:53The thing that I am kind of the most nervous about is, you know, my headspace.
37:58Because doing this, if you guys decide to do this, it is your entire life.
38:02It is all you think about.
38:04Every moment that you're up, like, you think about food, what you eat.
38:08Like, it's just, it's so all-consuming.
38:11And when that's gone, I kind of be like, I'm like, what's next?
38:16Like, what am I going to do?
38:17Like, there's so much out of my mind right now.
38:19And I feel like tomorrow morning is going to be, like, really weird.
38:24Not having to think about, like, what I'm eating to that degree.
38:28But with that said, I think a lot of people, like, want to take time off when the show is done.
38:35But this has just made me so motivated to get back into the gym and just absolutely crush it.
38:41Because I'm one to believe that we never have a cap, never have, like, a ceiling.
38:48There's no natural limit.
38:49I just think that, you know, if you just keep on pushing, keep on trying to do the best that you can,
38:54you just continue to get better.
38:56So that's kind of what I want to do.
38:58And at the end of the day, man, it's really cool because so much time and effort has been put into this.
39:06And it's just nice when it all comes full circle and you get something out of it.
39:11Hopefully, this shows some of you guys out there that if there's something out there that you want to do,
39:17just go and do it.
39:19If you say you're going to do it, do it.
39:22Who cares about the outcome?
39:24Just do the best that you can.
39:26And you never know what's going to happen.
39:29That is show day.
39:32Is that my last one?
39:34I'm not sure.
39:35I think a lot of people right now are yelling, yes, it is.
39:37But who knows?
39:39Never say never.
39:40So that is going to wrap up the video.
39:42If you guys enjoyed it, make sure to drop it a like.
39:44Subscribe to the channel if you're new.
39:45And I got to do this.
39:48And I'll see you in the next one.
