00:00To the world, to the city, this most solemn blessing to all of us and all of you listening and watching out there.
00:11What is interesting is he is smiling and I found very touching the fact that he made reference to his former diocese in Peru and spoke to them in Spanish.
00:23It was a very touching moment and I thank them for how they accompanied me.
00:30From this moment, I think we all accompanied the new Holy Father with our prayers and support.
00:39Once again, he asked, just like Pope Francis did before, he asked for continued prayers.
00:44This is a heavy task as we all noted before.
00:48And he continues to ask all of us for prayers and also for the intercession of Our Lady on the special feast day.
00:55And he asked us especially to be bridged by us, as he is a contract, so we're told as well.
01:01That we should build with that in the diocese, both here in the diocese of Rome, in Italy, and throughout the world.
01:07And that we should build that on fraternity and on solidarity and on family.
01:15So many times Pope Francis told us the same.
01:19You know, there have been false debates, I think, in leading up to this, about unity and diversity and things.
01:26And he's made it clear that he's looking for us to be united, but also to be the bridge borders and to bring about peace in the world that's already true.
01:34We're seeing this stunning footage, or there's a video that he drew in there going close to the balcony and seeing, I think it's the first time we look at images like this up close, the new Pope.
01:50There's about 100,000 people we're getting in the square right now who are seeing Pope, Pope Leo the 14th for the first time.
01:59Here's this one from the border of Texas and Mexico that Pope Francis spoke to him and he was there.
02:08It's amazing, all the people who were appearing in the square now, and the connections they had present and past.
02:15Again, quite a novelty, an American Pope.
02:19And here he is waiting, and again, once again, you can see the emotion and sense of responsibility, the weight of the office.
02:29Well, this is a beautiful view, seeing from inside the lodger, looking out, what he would see as he waves to the crowds.
02:41It's a very interesting place there.
