00:00I'm here at the Millennium Sculpture so this has been in place for 25 years now and unfortunately
00:09in the last few weeks it started to get damaged we believe by skateboarders using it for tricks
00:15the slides it's really unfortunate because it was in pristine condition until we had this
00:23whole area renovated has been reported to the police CCTV footage is being examined so if you
00:33know who did it or if you actually were part of it we will have it repaired we're in touch with the
00:44original artist he will have to make new tiles and they're all tailor-made specifically for
00:51this sculpture so that will have to come out of our reserves so it's unfortunate because as I say
00:59it's been here for 25 years untouched and it's only when we've renovated St. Thomas garden that we've
01:05had this damage done there's another small aspect to it we've put in some specimen plants or our
01:13floral contractor put a dozen specimen plants in there's only three left now they've been stolen
01:20it's really disappointing because we're doing our utmost to make this the most pleasant space we
01:26can be but we do have individuals who think it's their right to take things that belong to the whole town
