00:00The Conjuring Last Rites, for me, is pretty much the end of an era.
00:06It is bittersweet, but all things come to an end.
00:09It's been really fun to grow up, you know, through the decades,
00:12and explore all these sensational cases.
00:14It's November 1st, 1971.
00:161977.
00:181981.
00:19Going back to the first film, I remember thinking,
00:22what a gift to be able to do this.
00:24So it's 1971 Conjuring, and Conjuring 2's 1977.
00:28Conjuring 3 was 81.
00:30This is 1986.
00:32And the Smurl Case.
00:34The Smurl Case was the darkest thing we've ever seen in the series.
00:38Ed and Lorraine, they're both contemplating hanging it up.
00:41Unfortunately, because of their innate goodness,
00:43they actually can't walk away from it.
00:45This demon has a vendetta, and what it wants is very, very personal.
00:53You talk upping the scares.
00:54This is thrilling, scary.
00:56You never know where this is going.
00:58This story is the last act for these two.
01:02And something's changed.
01:05And we have to understand the truth.
01:07We've heard of it.
01:19So you guys can say this thing twice.
01:20You're the last act about the due diligence.
01:22And there's no way.
01:23This is an effect of what we've noticed.
01:25We've heard of it.
01:26We've heard of it.
01:27We've heard of it.
01:27We've heard of it.
