Transcript
00:00So, you've just announced the third Aletheia branch in Wakefield. How do you feel about this rapid expansion?
00:11It's really exciting. When you open a business, I think you never know how it's going to go, and that can be quite nerve-wracking.
00:17But to see how our clients have responded to us being here, both in Leeds and then in York, it gives me the confidence, I guess, to be able to continue to expand.
00:26And did I expect it? I hoped for it, but I think you never know how it's going to go.
00:31You opened the first studio here in Leeds less than a year ago in August last year.
00:36Looking back at the sort of nine months, what's been some highlights of yours?
00:43I think the biggest highlight for me has been seeing how the community in Leeds in particular has grown, just because we've had this studio open longer.
00:50But, you know, seeing people make friends from coming into the studio, getting to know our clients, and it's just such a nice community environment.
00:58I think in this day and age, people looking for that kind of personal community feel.
01:02So much stuff now is online and on social media.
01:05So being able to create a space where people have been able to come together and create such a nice community is definitely a big highlight.
01:11I think the other big highlight would, I would have to say, the health outcomes that we've seen.
01:16You know, people have started here, they've been on pain medication, they've been on the border of having an operation and been able to completely come off that pain medication.
01:24People telling us the mental health's never been better, they feel physically better than ever.
01:28Like, that, for me, is life-changing, and it's what motivates me to continue and continue to grow Alethea,
01:36because I can see the impact that we're being able to have on people's lives, and that is amazing.
01:40Yeah. And finally, sort of looking ahead, are we pausing and reflecting, or can we expect a fourth studio in the near future?
01:50Yeah, we're already looking for a fourth studio location at the moment, so we've got big ambitious growth plans for Alethea.
01:56I think reform of Pilates and Pilates in general is in a huge growth phase at the moment.
02:01There's loads of opportunity, and we're ambitious.
02:04We know that what we're doing is really good, we can see how much our clients love it.
02:10So yeah, I'd love to get another one open before the end of this year.
