00:10You're the devil in the sky
00:12Whether it's traditional Hawaiian music
00:14or all of us present
00:16music is part of the DNA of Lilo & Stitch
00:20I am Mark Ely Homolo
00:22and I got involved with Lilo & Stitch
00:24about 22 years ago
00:26And of course Mark
00:28Mark is pretty legendary in Hawaii
00:30and did all of the singing
00:32and some of the composing in the original
00:36Also I was particularly stoked that we got
00:38the Kamehameha School Children's Choir back
00:40The first time we did it
00:42it's almost like a once in a lifetime opportunity
00:44Now we get to be a part of it again
00:46It's a really full circle moment for us
00:48She even has a family connection in this movie
00:52This is my son, Christopher Bright
00:54and he's also the screenwriter for Lilo & Stitch
00:57Getting to write on it made it incredibly special
00:59In a way, I've never really said this to you
01:01but it's kind of like my love letter to my mom
01:03just for everything that she's done for me
01:05Stop it!
01:07Dan Roemer made a really beautiful score
01:11Tahitian drumming was one of the things
01:13that I was the most excited to do
01:15I just think the rhythms are so fascinating
01:17Especially when you're telling a story about Hawaii
01:19with this rich cultural history
01:21It was really important to all of us
01:23that we had voices with a close connection to the culture
01:27Aloha, Aloha
01:29Aloha, I'm Imtongi
01:31And I'm humbled and honored to perform
01:33Hawaiian roller coaster ride
01:35There's no place I'd rather be
01:37Lilo & Stitch is such a huge part of any kid's life
01:39who grew up in the Pacific Islands
01:41It's crazy how many times I would watch it
01:43with all my cousins and all my friends
01:45Flying by on the Hawaiian roller coaster ride
01:49It has such a strong message about
01:51Ohana, family
01:53It was honestly a dream come true
01:55I can only hope my version of Hawaiian roller coaster ride
01:57will live all in the hearts of a new generation of kids
02:03And you can't make a live action Lilo & Stitch
02:05without Elvis Presley
02:23My name is Najee Music
02:24And I'm Zaya Rhythm
02:25And we are singing Burning Love by Elvis Presley
02:27Reproduced by our uncle Bruno Mars
02:29We're so excited to be in this
02:34My favorite part of it is that
02:36we got to do it together with my brother
02:40Ohana means family
02:41And our family actually got together to make this song
02:47Everybody's family is involved in this
02:48and I think that's really beautiful
02:50Mahalo to Disney and Lilo & Stitch
02:52and the Ohana of Hawaii
02:54We're all getting caught up in this
02:55Rock and roll
02:56Rock and roll
