00:00Mr. President, will you be asking China to help you close, you know, the gap between Ukraine and Russia?
00:12I think so, yeah. I think it's a natural thing to ask.
00:14What do you expect?
00:15Sure. I don't know. I think we're making good progress.
00:19Fighting is a little bit different than it was.
00:21I think if we weren't involved, Russia would be, you know, going at it to maybe get the whole thing.
00:28And without our involvement, they'd be able to get it because we supplied a lot of different things, foolishly.
00:34But we've been sort of paid back by doing the rare earth deal that I talked about before.
00:38I think that, you know, I think that we will be very much involved in trying to get that bloodbath.
00:44It's a bloodbath. It's a horrible situation.
00:47Five thousand. It's really more than that.
00:50But it's five thousand soldiers on average a week, mostly soldiers, are being killed.
00:55Young, beautiful people. I mean, they're being killed.
00:58I see the satellite pictures coming back, body parts lying all over the fields, heads and arms.
01:04It's so terrible. I've never seen anything like it, actually.
01:07And if we can get that stopped, that would be a great accomplishment.
01:10And we're trying very hard. And I think we're close.
01:11And Mr. Witkoff is talking constantly back and forth.
01:15He's a real professional. He's got a great relationship with both countries.
01:19And I think we have a good chance.
01:22And likewise, we're trying to work on Iran to get that solved without having to get into any bombing, as we say, big bombing.
01:31I don't want to do that. I want them to work. I want them to be very successful.
