British & Irish Lions head coach Andy Farrell claimed he was not pressured to pick Welsh players
Transcript
00:00To Wales, that's the lowest contingent from Wales since the war.
00:03Did you feel any pressure to find that Welsh representation?
00:06And what about Thomas and Jack has impressed you?
00:10I didn't feel any pressure at all.
00:14I think I spoke about this a few weeks ago as well in regards to selection,
00:20not just of players, but of staff as well.
00:23Well, after we selected the squad, Jain and Ben came in,
00:31because everyone, you know, they need to know the answers for today.
00:36And Jain and Ben were counting the numbers from different countries.
00:40And we hadn't honestly done that.
00:44It's not in our interest to do that.
00:46Everyone's an individual.
00:48It doesn't matter where you come from.
00:50So the numbers are the numbers, but the individuals deserve it.
