00:00The motel for a clinic set up alone raises red flags.

00:04Hence, the suspect's modus operandi was a no-brainer for the cops who easily set up a trap,

00:10which the fake dentist easily fell for and is now in custody.

00:15Our Ryan Lecigas has more details on this dentist who needs a root canal treatment sans the anesthesia.

00:24Instead of sitting in a dental chair, the patient was lying on a bed.

00:28This was the modus operandi of one fake dentist in Cotabato City.

00:32This small room in a motel served as her clinic.

00:36But the suspect didn't know the person getting a dental cleaning was actually a policeman.

00:49When the right time came, other members of the PNP anti-cybercrime group entered and placed her under arrest.

00:55The suspect's modus was exposed after she got caught offering dental services online during cyber patrolling.

01:02Mostly, yung kanyang mga biktima ay mga estudyante po.

01:06In fact, itong latest operation natin, e doon sinagawa sa isang motel.

01:13Dahil yun ang pagpapanggap niya na nagagawa sila ng tesis at baka pwede doon na lang din magsagawa ng iligal na operasyon.

01:25Sa PNP anti-cybercrime group, director, police, Brigadier General Bernard Young,

01:42the suspect managed to easily deceive people with an irresistible offer of P1,000 for braces with free cleaning shown inocasionally.

01:50But the offer comes with great risk because the suspect is just a student moonlighting without any license as a dentist.

01:57Meron na pong namatay doon sa area na yun dahil sa nagkaroon ng tetanos yung biktima.

02:06Opo, so ito kasi, itong nanguli natin, e ino-order niya lang din online yung mga kinakabit niya.

02:14The ACG admits that cases of blatant illegal online dental services offers are on the rise.

02:20The official reminds the public to be vigilant and not easily fall for cheap services offered online,

02:25especially when health and safety are at stake.
