New Delhi, May 07, 2025 (ANI): Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov and Former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated plaque featuring Indian heroes who were awarded by the erstwhile Soviet government for their contributions in Delhi on May 07. Former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik was one of them in these four Indians. This plaque is a dignified gesture to make people passing by reflect upon and remember that in the hour of trial, our nations stood together. The plaque, titled, “Heroes of the Second World War awarded by Soviet Government”, featured names of four Indians and the honours they received.

02:24to remember the heroic deeds of our fathers.

03:04in that war in which 27 million Soviet people perished.

03:55in Russia during the Second World War, which led to the final defeat of Nazi Germany.
