00:00Another year, another run for Robborough. Back here in great city of Leeds. Another chance to
00:10all march on together and to celebrate all the achieved. Another chance to continue the battle
00:16against MND that we're fighting. Like this marathon, no longer a vision, not just an idea
00:22in writing. The Robborough Centre for Motor Neurone Disease. It's taking shape and in part
00:29thanks to you, which just shows this is summat to be proud of and what your commitment can do.
00:36Seeing folk rally round Rob and his family and with Kev his best mate there to lead it,
00:42there's no nobler calling in life than giving hope back to them folk that need it.
00:48Now, a marathon ain't no easy feat, so to see Rob and Kevin together when he carried his friend
00:54of it lying in his arms, that moment will inspire me forever. There'll be moments when things are
01:00a struggle, up at the chevy for me, I wait why, when it feels like that hill's never ending and
01:06that's when you remember your why. For charity, for fitness, for challenge, for first timers, for PBs,
01:14for fun. It won't be easy and outwith while is, but them hard yards in training are done.
01:21That's why this event's a great big celebration. That diverse culture and heritage and folk
01:28are this great Yorkshire city, the Leeds. And Robborough, that great Yorkshire bloke.
01:35It's Yorkshire spirit on display at its finest, named after a true Yorkshire great.
01:40This is Robborough, Leeds Marathon. An eddingly finish line feeling awaits.
