00:54with deadly poison. The pompadoured warrior decides to entrust his armor, Imperial Arms,
00:59in Kuzio, to Tatsumi.
01:06With his raging spirit, Tatsumi dance in Kuzio, shouting aloud as he summons the living armor
01:14behind him before merging with it. Tatsumi makes short work of Nyao, but his first transformation
01:27has stuck with us for a long time. We're not sure why there's a hot-blooded super sentai-like
01:32transformation scene in this dark fantasy series, but we're not complaining.
01:399. Ichigo's Full Hollow Form. Bleach.
01:42Ichigo Kurosaki undergoes many transformations while battling Shinigami, Hollows or other spiritual
01:49foes. Yet few of them are as simultaneously hype and bone-chilling as this one. In his fight
01:55with Ukiura, Ichigo is all but killed by the Espada.
01:59Yet when his best girl, Orohime, begs for his help, his body reacts on its own. His inner
02:07hollow takes over completely, with the mindlessly savage personality letting out a roar.
02:16Between the hollow form's absolute swagger and its completely beastly beatdown of Ukiura,
02:23this transformation scene is utterly unforgettable.
02:308. Zerofuku's Corruption. Record of Ragnarok.
02:41This mythological fighting tournament anime is extra in just about everything it does,
02:47but this transformation is still wild even by its impressive standards. The conclusion
02:52of Buddha's duel with Zerofuku apparently ends in the Enlightened One's victory. But
02:57then, Zerofuku's own detached horns drill back into his head, grow, and then dive into
03:03his mouth and open chest wound. Then two dragons burst out of him and form a scaly egg around
03:20him. The egg then cracks to reveal Pepeus or Hajun, demon lord of the sixth heaven.
03:26I think we speak for everyone else in the audience when we say, what the actual f-
03:347. Galgai-Ga Final Fusion. The King of Braves, Galgai-Ga.
03:39When there are mechs involved, there's a good bet there'll be some extravagant transformation
03:44sequences of giant robots or vehicles combining to form a bigger one. While the Brave franchise
03:51isn't as well known as other mecha series internationally, this sequence alone is enough to put it on
03:56the map. The already epic Geiger mech combines with a train, plane, and drill to form the Galgai-Ga
04:06Final Fusion. Along with the enormous green tornado it spins up every time, all of the parts are shown
04:16connecting in loving detail to form the huge, line-torsoed robot. It may happen practically every episode, but when it's this epic, it never gets old.
04:316. Mob Goes Unknown Percent For The First Time. Mob Psycho 100. Shigeo Mob Kageyama unleashes powerful bursts of psychic energy whenever he feels strong emotions.
04:43Often represented as going 100%. A vain fellow psychic, Teruki Hanazawa, tries to goad Mob into fighting back, even choking him into unconsciousness.
04:58However, that proves the worst thing he could have done. Unchecked by Mob's waking mind, Mob's suppressed emotions and psychic powers run wild as unknown percent.
05:12Roughly animated and featuring entirely white eyes, this mob absorbs Teruki's psychic energy before destroying the school around them and sending the haughty students into the sky. Don't poke the bear. Even if it's a middle schooler, you never know what you might awaken.
05:335. Kars Becomes The Ultimate Life Form
05:38JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
05:40As one of the immortal vampire-like pillar men, Kars is already tremendously strong. However, after tricking the Nazis into hitting him with ultraviolet lights while wearing the stone mask, Kars undergoes an incredible transformation. He glows with technicolor lights, and you can even see his skeleton through his skin.
05:59When the stone mask breaks, Kars is practically at one with the universe. At first he seems unchanged, and then he turns his hand into a squirrel.
06:12Rodent body horror aside, Kars is now able to withstand the sun's rays. He basks in its brilliance just as he forces everyone else to bask in his glorious, unbeatable power and their perfect hair.

06:41Hunter x Hunter
06:42Even children can become monsters when pushed to their limits.
06:46After learning that his friend and mentor Kite is dead after all,

06:53Nen abilities become stronger, the greater restrictions are placed on them,
06:57and Gon decides to use all the power he'll ever have to kill Pito.

07:22The long-haired, muscular man Gon becomes is barely recognisable as him.
07:34However, the absolute beatdown he delivers on Pito still makes the transformation rewarding.
07:44Number 3. Tengen Topper Gurren Lagann

07:48This mecha series is basically the show seeing if it can one-up itself
07:52with over-the-top mecha action and transformations.
07:56And this reaches its pinnacle with Tengen Topper Gurren Lagann.
08:00Team Dai Gurren throws logic out the window
08:02and bursts out of an extra-dimensional prison
08:05to rescue Nia from the anti-spiral.
08:07They then proceed to use their own thoughts to generate their biggest mecha yet,
08:19Tengen Topper Gurren Lagann.
08:20We zoom out to see that the huge red mech covered in green fire
08:24and dragon skulls is bigger than entire galaxies.
08:28It would take something truly ridiculous to surpass this.
08:37The movie version certainly tried, though.
08:44Number 2. Super Saiyan 4
08:46Dragon Ball Daima
08:47Goku unveils his Crimson Monkey form more than once in this Dragon Ball sequel series,
08:52but his transformation as an adult facing Supreme Demon King Goma has got to be the best.
08:58Goku wastes no time and powers up to Super Saiyan.
09:04Then Super Saiyan 2.
09:06Next, lightning comes off him and vaporizes large chunks of his surroundings
09:11as he transitions to Super Saiyan 3.
09:16But he's not finished yet.
09:18A titanic column of energy explodes out of him that can be seen in other demon worlds,
09:24and out of it steps Super Saiyan 4 Goku.
09:32The whole sequence is essentially a greatest hit of Goku's transformations,
09:36one after the other, and all gorgeously rendered.

10:38The music and animation go totally nuts as well. It's a transformation scene that's simultaneously
10:46hype, hilarious, and, as Luchi soon discovers, horrifying.
