00:00Yeah, my dad passed when I was 12.
00:04Yeah, he was murdered, he got in a fight, got killed.
00:08And he was in the hospital.
00:10It happened in September, September 9th.
00:13But he stayed in the hospital and in a nursing home until Christmas morning.
00:21He died Christmas morning because he was, let's see, he had a really, really bad head injury.
00:26This guy took a, it's really gruesome.
00:29But he had a 2x4 with a nail in it and hit my dad in the head a couple of times with it.
00:33Especially after my dad passed, my mom was all I had.
00:37One brother wasn't home ever, period.
00:42I mean, I saw him once every blue moon.
00:45Then the other brother was off doing his own thing.
00:47He graduated from college and got his degree and was all over the world.
00:52So it was just me and my mom after that.
00:55I mean, all we had was each other.
00:57I mean, we've been through a lot together from having absolutely nothing to eat and sharing a Hershey's kiss.
01:06If it weren't for her, I don't think, I don't think I would ever really do and work as hard as I do.
01:14I wouldn't do as much as I do because my mom is always there pushing me whenever I decide I want to give up.
01:22She's like, no, you got to do it.
01:23You got to do it.
01:24You got to push harder.
01:25You got to do this.
01:26Now, you said you wanted to be this, so you better do that in order to get to this.
01:29And I'm like, okay, you're right.
01:30So, I guess because of that, I feel like I'm indebted to my mom for the rest of my life.
01:37So, I figure why not come back and help her.
01:40Mm-hmm.
01:44Yep.
