00:00All I know is that last night, I said earlier today,
00:05that was the best game I've seen all year in the NBA.
00:10In fact, I thought both games were the two best games I've seen all year
00:14of any game whatsoever.
00:16The end of both of those games was fantastic.
00:20But as you know, I care so much about the Knicks that I was losing my mind.
00:25I mean, I was lit.
00:26I was – Chop and I were watching, and I was cussing so much.
00:30I mean, the dog was scared.
00:32My wife was telling me to shut up.
00:34The whole deal.
00:35It all was happening.
00:36There was people yelling at me, dogs barking at me,
00:40Chop and I high-fiving, going crazy.
00:43Wasn't that game awesome?
00:45Yeah, for a team that everyone had them –
00:48had their eulogy and their burial before the season started,
00:52saying, oh, Boston in four, Boston in five.
00:55Folks, simply put, the Knicks stole that game,
00:59and they didn't even play well.
01:01Everybody's sitting here talking about the threes that Boston, like, missed.
01:05Yes, they missed a ton of threes.
01:07But, you know, the Knicks also shot 55% for the foul line
01:11with Mitchell Robinson going three for ten.
01:13Yeah, Carl Anthony Towns was in foul trouble,
01:15who did end up with 14 points,
01:17but some of those came in the fourth quarter.
01:19Yeah, Mikel Bridges, before he hit that three in the corner pocket,
01:24was two of 12 from the floor.
01:27Like, the Knicks didn't play well either.
01:29But you know what they did?
01:30They played tough.
01:32And the problem I have with Boston is they play pretty boy ball.
01:37This is the playoff, son.
01:38It ain't about pretty boy ball.
01:40It's about winning games.
01:42The tougher teams sometimes will prevail.
01:43And I think Boston got three-point happy because this, you know,
01:48almost said, you know, a curse word, thank goodness I stopped myself.
01:51This whole thing of analytics and the NBA have no pull-up jumpers
01:56and three are key.
01:58Do people understand how easy it is to guard you now
02:02if you can't make a three?
02:04You run them off the line, you meet them at the rim.
02:08This is the problem with the Celtics.
02:10They shot folks.
02:11Think about this.
02:12They shot 60 out of 97 shots from three.
02:19Think about that for a second.
02:20And it would stretch this, folks.
02:22We didn't even get the ball inside the three-point line for real.
02:25Or the dribble.
02:26Like, not even like a dribble drive kick.
02:30It was straight threes.
02:32Boston should be embarrassed by themselves by how they played.
02:36And they just woke up the Knicks.
02:38And the Knicks didn't play well.
02:39Folks, we're going to have ourselves a series in this one.
02:43So, what do they do about Mitchell Robinson, the Knicks?
02:48Honestly, if he's not giving them minutes, I think if he's not hitting free throws,
02:53I'm going to tell you something a little bit different.
02:55I'd give Precious a little bit of run.
02:58I would play Precious or Chua a little bit because of the fact of his ability to knock down free throws.
03:05The problem is he is so good, Mitchell Robinson, defending the rim, right?
03:11So, when you follow the guys in the lane, you've got Mitchell Robinson there.
03:15He's a great rebounder.
03:18You've got to give to get.
03:20And I think at that point, you just stick with him.
03:22But it'll be interesting to see what happens with Porzingis, whatever illness this is,
03:26because I think it becomes easier to play Mitch if you don't have Porzingis because
03:34Horford goes to the five.
03:36You bring Cornette in the game.
03:37That allows Mitchell Robinson to play a little bit more minutes.
03:39You need him, Pharrell, on that ball screen coverage because he plays that drop coverage,
03:44switch coverage as good as any big man in the league.
03:48What is this Femi illness?
03:51You know, I'm all for it.
03:53He didn't score, and he left the game.
03:56He never came back.
03:57What is wrong with this dude?
03:59He's soft as a pillow.
04:01Good.
04:02I'm a Nick fan.
04:03Don't play him.
04:04Play him next year.
04:06Let him because I think...
04:08Well, what is it?
04:09It was some autoimmune, like something that he had during the season, and he missed weeks
04:14during that.
04:14I mean, it was so crazy because he played the first half.
04:18He wasn't really effective, right?
04:20He comes out for the second half, comes with the warm-ups, and then he's gone.
04:24And like, no one knew what's going on.
04:27And that's part of the reason why Boston ran out of gas is because you can't play Al Horford
04:3235 minutes a night.
04:34Like, everybody talks about the importance of all these guys.
04:38Porzingis in the frontcourt allows everyone to slot into their spots, right?
04:43Yeah.
04:43You can play Porzingis.
04:44You can play Porzingis, obviously, with Horford.
04:48You can play Horford as a backup.
04:50Now, if you don't have Porzingis, now Horford's got to play 37 minutes a night, and now you've
04:55got to allow Luke Cornett to give you major minutes.
