00:11Kuala Kangsar OCPD Assistant Commissioner Haisham Haroon said both victims, aged 68, died at the scene from severe injuries sustained in the 10.30 a.m. incident.
00:22The couple was travelling from Taiping to Kuala Kangsar when a car travelling in the opposite direction lost control, veered into their lane and collided with them.
00:33ACP Haisham said the car's driver has been arrested to assist in investigations under Section 44, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act.
