00:00First of all, can you give us the latest on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza right now?
00:06Well, it's simple. I'm going to quote the UN.
00:08The UN has warned that Gaza is currently facing its worst humanitarian crisis since the beginning of hostilities.
00:14We're talking about October 7 here.
00:16So the blockade that has been renewed by the Israeli government since March 2, which is about 60 days,
00:24has completely stopped the entry of any humanitarian aid.
00:27This is a flagrant violation of international law.
00:30In terms of food, in terms of access to health care, I mean, all essentials are stopped.
00:35Like the World Food Program five days ago reported or 10 days ago reported that food stocks have been depleted.
00:42Bakeries and community kitchens have either shut down or will very soon do so.
00:47And community kitchens are the last remaining lifeline in the Gaza Strip.
00:52The risk of hunger, of malnutrition and of famine is growing.
00:55As for the health care system, it is on the brink of collapse.
00:59It is overwhelmed by matched casualties.
01:01The very little infrastructure that remains is critically hindered by the full blockade.
01:06There is a cutoff of essential life-saving medicines, vaccines, medical equipment.
01:10I wouldn't even know where to start.
01:12But the more...
01:15I would like to know where to start.
01:17It's a cutoff of special life-saving medicines.
01:19This is a cutoff.
01:21I would like to see you in the back pocket.
01:23This is a cutoff of essential life-saving medicines.
01:25And the piece of connection is quite the same.
01:27There's a cutoff of essential life-saving-ness.
01:29It's a cutoff of essential life-saving medicine.
