00:00Police were called to a property here in Coonabarabran, which is about six hours north west of Sydney.
00:08After reports, a call came in for a welfare check, and police attended that property about 10 minutes out of town here,
00:15and sadly they discovered the bodies of these two young boys aged six and seven.
00:20As you mentioned, the 66-year-old woman was arrested at the property and taken to hospital,
00:24and she stayed there overnight under police guard.
00:27It is understood that she is assisting police with their inquiries.
00:31Now, we know quite little at this stage, however, the ABC understands that this 66-year-old woman is the boy's grandmother,
00:38but there is no more threat to the community, police have said, and now they are currently out at the property
00:43and they have established a strike force to investigate the circumstances surrounding the boys' deaths.
