00:00...counter-response to my friend, Mr. Wilson.
00:03And revise and extend your remarks without objection.
00:05The gentleman is recognized for one minute.
00:07Thank you, Madam Speaker.
00:08I watched the President in an interview and meet the press yesterday.
00:11I was shocked at the lack of understanding that the man has of his job.
00:15He takes an oath to protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
00:20And he says he's not sure if the Fifth Amendment is applicable to people in this country,
00:24and he's not sure if he'll stand up and protect the Constitution.
00:26This is unfathomable.
00:31And then he comes up and tells us he wants to have a parade that'll cost over $90 million.
00:35That's his birthday.
00:36That happens to coincide with Flag Day and the birth of the United States Army,
00:40neither of which have ever merited a parade in the past.
00:43$90 million with airplanes and tanks and troops to appease a man's ego,
00:48to let him think for a while he's Genghis Khan or Napoleon.
00:52He's not Genghis Khan.
00:53He's not Napoleon.
00:54He's not the Pope.
00:55He is a President of the United States who works for us, the American people.
01:00I yield back the balance of my time.
