They themselves become a joke: BJP’s Anurag Thakur slams Cong over Ajay Rai’s nimbu-mirchi statement

Kangra (HP), May 05, 2025 (ANI): BJP MP Anurag Thakur on May 05 slammed Congress over UP President Ajay Rai’s nimbu-mirchi statement and said that they itself has become a joke. He also commented on Sanjauli Mosque case by saying that mindset of the Waqf Board is that they will never show documents. “The people of the country have condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. An environment has been created against Pakistan across the world. The Govt of India has made it clear that a befitting reply will be given at the right time,” said Anurag Thakur. “Congress itself has become a joke. Earlier, SC slammed Rahul Gandhi on Rafale case and Congress should remember it that this type of joke gets slammed again in Court….,” he added on Ajay Rai statement. “The mindset of the Waqf Board is that they will never show documents. The way a mosque was constructed in Shimla's Sanjauli was illegal. There were no documents of the land. Even after several months, the documents could not be presented... There are several other cases in the country where Waqf has taken possession of the land without documents...,” he said on Shimla MC court orders total demolition of Sanjauli mosque.
