BJP MP Sambit Patra reaches Imphal to meet legislators for new govt formation in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), May 5, 2025 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party Northeast in-charge and Member of Parliament Sambit Patra arrived at Imphal’s Bir Tikendrajit International Airport on May 05 to hold a crucial meeting with the BJP legislators of Manipur. After landing, he moved to Churachandpur by helicopter. The visit comes in the backdrop of 21 Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs urging the party’s central leadership in New Delhi to consider form- a new BJP-led government in the state. Sambit Patra met with the party’s legislators once again regarding the possibility of establishing a new government under a new leadership.
