00:00Two games of NBA playoff action on a Sunday.

00:03I'm Bo Estes with a fast break from NBA.com.

00:08The Indiana Pacers took down the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers

00:12in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals Series.

00:17Tyrese Halliburton, one of the big stars in this one,

00:20he goes for 22 points and 13 big assists in the victory.

00:25And afterwards, he talked about the importance of getting off to a good start

00:29and then weathering that storm that came from the Cavaliers.

00:33I thought we did a great job of starting the game the right way.

00:35We weathered the storm.

00:37I mean, they're the number one team in the conference.

00:39They got an unbelievable crowd, so they got into it

00:42and they were, you know, wheeling their way back into the game.

00:44You know, we just had to find a way to grow the lead,

00:46and I thought we did it by getting stops, getting out and running,

00:48and just playing Pacer basketball.

00:49In the late game, it was the Golden State Warriors moving on

00:55after a Game 7 victory over the Houston Rockets, 103-80.

00:59nine that featured a starring performance from Buddy Heald,

01:03who went 9 of 11 on threes.

01:06He finished with 33 points.

01:08Those nine three-pointers tied an NBA playoff record for Game 7s.

01:14Jimmy Butler goes for 20 after the game, Steph for 22.

01:18And afterwards, Steph Curry talked about the importance Jimmy Butler had

01:22in turning the regular season around

01:24and the challenge coming up against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

01:27I mean, we were, what, 10th place at one point in February

01:31and finished the year with a sense of urgency on the run

01:35to even get to the play-in to give ourselves a chance.

01:38So for us to build chemistry on the fly, build trust on the fly,

01:42and perform like we did in a Game 7 like this, it means the world.

01:46So mission accomplished, step one.

01:50We've got an incredibly tough Minnesota team waiting,

01:54so I'm excited for the challenge.
