00:05In the presence of the Honorable Rustam Imamali, Mayor of the City of Dushanbe,

00:09Mr. Ismail Mahmoud Zoyer, Tajikistan Judo Federation President,

00:13and IJF Head Sport Director Mr. Vladimir Barta, the event was officially opened.

00:22At under 73 kilograms, Muhyiddin Asaduloev faced Erdinbaya Batzaya from Mongolia.

00:30Asaduloev scored a yuko and managed to hold off his opponent to claim a first Grand Slam gold medal.

00:41An impressive achievement for the 19-year-old, much to the joy of the local fans.

00:49Dushanbe Mayor Mr. Rustam Imamali awarded the medals.

00:52In the under 63 kilograms, Gankaj Bould faced double junior world champion Melkia Oshikon

01:02and made quick work of the contest.

01:08Ipon in under 30 seconds.

01:10IJF Education and Coaching Director Mr. Mohamed Meridja awarded the medals.

01:14In the under 70 kilograms, Lara Svjetko faced Kelly Peterson Pollard.

01:25After an epic fight and an eight-and-a-half-minute golden score,

01:30Svjetko timed it perfectly to score Ipon.

01:32A first Grand Slam gold for the world number one.

01:41IJF Head Referee Director Mr. Florin Daniel-Laskow awarded the medals.

01:44It's one of my favorite distant destinations.

01:51I love the weather, I love the city.

01:55They're like always recognizing us.

01:57I think they really recognize judo and I really love Tajikistan.

02:02In the under 81 kilograms, Olympic bronze medallist Somon Mahmoud Bekov faced Adam Tachoyo.

02:15It was an intense contest that came down to the final 30 seconds.

02:22But Mahmoud Bekov managed to score a yuko with a hold down.

02:27Joy for the Tajik fans and another gold for Mahmoud Bekov's collection.

02:32Tajikistan NOC Vice President Mr. Dilshod Nazarov awarded the medals.

02:40I dedicate my gold medal to all of my cheering fans here.

02:46And special thanks to my uncles and my coach.

02:50There was also a bronze medal for Abubakar Sherov to go with Tajikistan's two golds.
