00:00Today marks two years since the ethnic violence that broke out in Manipura on May 3rd, 2023 between the Kuki and Meite communities, affecting hundreds of lives.
00:13Now the security situation has improved and there is a growing call for peace and reconciliation among all communities.
00:24Security forces remain vigilant in sensitive areas and a general sense of calm prevails as people look to move forward, leaving behind the painful past.
00:36We want peace in our state, especially here in the Hill District as well as in the Valley because the violence has caused a lot of trouble and problems especially for the students
00:49because those who are financially backward, they cannot go outside Manipur.
00:55Now especially for those Hill students, they want to go down to the valley and study there.
01:01It has affected us all, at least emotionally, mentally and we wish for peace to return to our state so that we can go back to our normal life.
01:14We need to improve our country. We need to improve our country. We need to improve our country.
01:28I appeal to all communities of Manipur. We have to go into a love, peace and understanding of each other.
01:41And the government of India and the government of Manipur, they are very peacemakers to my sense and we have to cooperate with laws of the land.
01:53There is a very good scope for peace in Manipur now. Most of the major communities are watching out any avenue for reaching out to other communities so that peace could come up as early as possible.
02:14So I feel that there is a very good chances now. The government should take the initiative of opening up and then trying to bring these tribal groups, tribe groups particularly the various in peace into the dialogue table.
02:35Communities across Manipur are expressing a strong desire for lasting peace and healing. The hope now is for unity, progress and a future free from fear and division.
02:45so there is a global expression for some parts at the BHeyJet.
02:53So of course I know that I am not good for an open way, but I am territorial to people that are on private as well.
03:01Anyone who else likely believes, the state got from a central line and southern energy keeping feelings is ready for amazing in the city.
