00:00Black Mamba
00:03I take it out and I basically let it bite my arm
00:16And the reason I do that is for shock reality
00:20To bring awareness for snake bite
00:22Nobody wants to see me just inject a lethal dose
00:25That's boring
00:26So what I did is I intentionally got bit
00:29To prove a point and film it
00:31To represent the people that die from snake bite
00:34I wasn't looking to be a YouTube star or anything like that
00:38It's all about the science for me, 100%
00:41In this study, what we're really excited about are two things
00:46First, we might have a working cocktail that could be developed in a few years
00:49But also, it shows what the human immune system can do
00:53We have antibodies producing a human
00:56That might save other humans moving forwards
00:58In terms of a universal anti-venom
01:02I picked the most dangerous ones in the world
01:03Black Mambas, Taipans, Cobras, Crepes, Coral Snakes, Rattlesnakes
01:08I couldn't get every single snake I wanted to have
01:11Some you just can't get
01:14And I don't like taking stuff out of the wild
01:15So I had to pick and choose
01:18I just realized that people die from snake bites
01:24And I wasn't dying
01:25So at that point I decided I have to reach out to every scientist on the planet
01:29I basically created a procedure that allowed broad recognition
01:32That many, many different toxins are moving forward
01:35And that recognition allowed him to be protected from snake bites
01:39And what we're hoping to do is take that same protection
01:42But not have to have everyone undergo 18 years of immunization and snake bites ultimately
