00:00Do you see Chelsea finding a way to defeat the champions?
00:02Chelsea on the other hand, you would feel they need this more than Liverpool.
00:07And considering the fact that they still have a lot of very, very difficult fixtures,
00:11so it's up to them now to reignite or be forever extinguished.
00:15Cole Palma, of course, much has been made about his form so far this season,
00:20especially in the second half.
00:22Then Nicolas Jackson is back among the goals against Everton.
00:25He helped them to a 1-0 win last time out.
00:28Do you see this duo coming up with something to shock Liverpool?
00:33Yeah, if Chelsea had to get a result out of the Liverpool fixture,
00:38I think they would count on those two.
00:40Palma, this second half of the season, hasn't been too convincing.
00:44He hasn't scored in their sister in 20 games.
00:47Jackson is just returning from injury, even Chelsea fans can't confidently rely on him.
00:52Liverpool are crowned champions of Premier League this season and deservedly so,
00:57but Chelsea are still battling for the top five race and is getting hotter by the day.
01:03Now, of course, Chelsea will welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge with the Blues,
01:07and Enzo Mareska's team are certainly looking forward to get more points
01:11and, of course, push their aspirations to be in the UEFA Champions League next season.
01:16Here's our preview of the game.
01:18My name is Ayomide Chutebol and this is The Nutmeg here on Guardian TV.
01:28Right, of course, I've got Olaide Balogun here in the studios with me for this edition of The Nutmeg.
01:34Great to have you back once more.
01:35Thank you for having me.
01:36And, of course, let's talk briefly about Liverpool, their champions, and what have you made of that?
01:42Congratulations to them.
01:44Well-deserved, you know, 20 EPL titles.
01:47Although some Manchester United fans would argue this is the Premier League era,
01:52so by default they won only two Premier League titles.
01:55But they won it in a very, very, very huge fashion.
01:58Yeah.
01:59As against the previous one they won during the lockdown.
02:02This with the fans, with the excitement, with the aura.
02:05Congratulations to them.
02:06Yeah, and it's really not about Liverpool in this edition.
02:10It's about Chelsea.
02:11They've done some coverage about, you know, the task that faces them in terms of trying to get into
02:16the Champions League next season.
02:17They've not been in that competition for two seasons now.
02:20But they're facing Liverpool and they have some tough tests.
02:24Liverpool, by the way, not much to fight for 82 points already.
02:27They've done a good season.
02:29Do you see Chelsea finding a way to defeat the Champions?
02:33No.
02:34Liverpool will be looking, of course, to do the double over them, having won the first leg in October.
02:39But Chelsea, on the other hand, you would feel they need this more than Liverpool.
02:44And considering the fact that they still have a lot of very, very difficult fixtures ahead,
02:49so it's up to them now to reignite or be forever extinguished.
02:53Well, we'll see how that pans out.
02:55But some of Chelsea's best players are not in form.
02:58And Cole Palmer, of course, much has been made about his form so far this season,
03:04especially in the second half.
03:06And then Nicolas Jackson is back among the goals against Everton.
03:09He helped them to a 1-0 win last time out.
03:12Do you see this duo coming up with something to shock Liverpool?
03:17Yeah, if Chelsea had to get a result out of the Liverpool fixture, I think they'll count on those two.
03:24Palmer, this second half of the season, hasn't been too convincing.
03:28He hasn't scored neither existed in 20 games.
03:31Jackson is just returning from injury.
03:33You can't, even Chelsea fans can't confidently rely on him to deliver the goods.
03:38But if they are to get anything in the fixture, they should confirm for more cylinders.
03:43Okay, let's look past.
03:44I'll still take your predictions before we end the show.
03:47But let's look past what's going on in the Premier League.
03:50It's almost done and dusted except for the race to qualify for the Champions League.
03:54Let's move to Spain, where it is heating up in terms of the title race.
03:58Barcelona found a way to win against Real Madrid three times this season.
04:02And they could get one over them again for the fourth time, perhaps.
04:06Not this weekend.
04:07But in terms of the title race, Barcelona are leading by four points now.
04:12Is it done and dusted in Spain for you?
04:14Yeah, almost.
04:15Because Madrid now, emotionally, psychologically, they are down.
04:18I haven't lost to Barcelona three times this season.
04:21And in humiliating fashion, rather.
04:23So, Barcelona and Rima do this.
04:26I think the next fixture, of course, will be a huge, significant fixture, you know,
04:31to determine who the eventual winners will be.
04:34But I see mine and Barcelona in the later.
04:37Okay, fair enough for a prediction.
04:40Let's move to Italy, where I think things are more interesting at this point.
04:44Napoli are three points ahead of Inter, who are reigning champions.
04:48And Napoli have players that are coming up and taking the responsibility at this point in time.
04:53Talk about Scott McTominay, Romelu Lukaku, as they've done across the season.
04:58And you look at, on paper, the fixtures left for both sides.
05:02And Napoli seem to have a better chance.
05:05Do you reckon that that is true?
05:07That Napoli could go all the way and snatch the Scudetto off Inter?
05:11Yes.
05:12Yes.
05:12Relatively, they have the easier fixtures.
05:15Inter, on the other hand, I'm quite surprised by the way Amana.
05:18They've crumbled in the last few games.
05:20Yeah.
05:20And they still have very difficult fixtures.
05:22They are still going to Torino.
05:24I think they would play Lazio.
05:26Lazio, yeah.
05:26So, these are very, very difficult fixtures.
05:29And this is the best time to play in Tamil.
05:31Because they are considering quite a lot of goals.
05:33Napoli, on the other hand, have found the right form.
05:36They're scoring goals.
05:37Their strikers are scoring and their midfielders as well.
05:40So, the league is looking pretty good for them.
05:42For Napoli to win.
05:43Okay.
05:44So, back to where we started just before we leave.
05:47Chelsea, Liverpool.
05:48Chelsea, predict the game and if they will finish in the top five places.
05:54Chelsea, Liverpool.
05:55Liverpool will win 2-1.
05:57Okay.
05:57And Chelsea finishing, yes, they will qualify for the Champions League.
06:01Right.
06:01Thank you very, very much for your predictions.
