00:00Where's Captain America? Where's Iron Man?
00:03Where are the people that matter?
00:04Like, who the hell are these people?
00:06And why should I see this outlier movie?
00:09Do you have a SAG card?
00:11I don't know.
00:12That's supposed to be here.
00:14I had a four-inch dash on the top of my head
00:16that is in the shape of a thunderbolt, by the way.
00:18Doctor's like, I can give you a shot to make it less painful.
00:21He's like, just staple it up.
00:24Most likely two with the cast of Thunderbolts.
00:30Oh, America's so big.
00:33You ever drive through Oklahoma? So flat.
00:37Most likely to be the best driver.
00:42Driver?
00:43I'm the only one that drives me.
00:45Thank you very much.
00:47I do want to say, too.
00:49I would like to say there were sequences in this movie
00:52where, of course, we were being pulled on a rig
00:55so that I can act to the fullest extent of my voice
00:59and physicality and not have to worry about the camera.
01:02But there's scenes where, like, Florence is hanging out
01:04that window where I am driving that vehicle.
01:06Driving that vehicle.
01:07Damn.
01:08How they let me do that.
01:09And you drove it in Vegas.
01:10That lead, wonderful actress.
01:12Oh, did I drove it in Vegas?
01:13You drove it in Vegas for real,
01:14with all the drinking underneath the car.
01:18No, see, no.
01:19I didn't realize that the car was that low.
01:21Yeah.
01:22Yeah.
01:23Most likely to stay in character between takes.
01:28I mean, you had some tough stuff.
01:30I'd say, yeah.
01:31So you, Lewis, oh yeah.
01:33Yeah, your preparation was very intense.
01:35Yeah, that's right.
01:36There were, like, emotional moments in the movie.
01:37The movie's very, it has a kind of, like, real heart
01:40and real, it goes to a place of true darkness.
01:43Mm-hmm.
01:44And a lot of that is shouldered by young Mr. Pullman here.
01:49Right.
01:50So there were days where we had to...
01:52Give him his space.
01:53Yeah, and it was quite beautiful, actually,
01:55to have these enormous sets on big days with big stunts
02:00and have everybody just pause for, like, a minute
02:04and everybody be quiet on set and get ready, you know,
02:08allow us to get to that space.
02:10And then we did, and, you know, the emotion is there
02:12and everything's there, and then you're pulling people
02:14on wires and you're slamming into things, you know.
02:18Yeah.
02:19It was quite beautiful to take that space as an actor.
02:21I really thought that was great.
02:23Mm-hmm.
02:24I mean, I feel like with these types of movies,
02:25you do it so many times, right?
02:27And so it is helpful to be able to have everybody
02:30kind of, like, idle together, you know, have that.
02:33Yeah.
02:34Yeah.
02:35Yeah.
02:36Idle is the perfect word for it.
02:37Yeah.
02:38Most likely to have the best fighting skills.
02:41Ooh.
02:42Wow.
02:43Honestly.
02:44I've probably been in the...
02:45Watch this guy move.
02:46I've probably been in the most fights of anybody.
02:47Well, he's here.
02:48You're a hockey player.
02:49Right, yeah.
02:50Yeah.
02:51Oh, right, of course.
02:52You feel like you're going to act when you're
02:53in a fight scene with you.
02:54Yeah.
02:55Yeah.
02:56I've been in a few.
02:57I'm not...
02:58And you even got actually properly injured on this.
03:00Yes.
03:01I did.
03:02I have a suit here for the rest of the day.
03:03Oh, my God.
03:04Oh, my God.
03:05Oh, my God.
03:06Oh, my God.
03:07Oh, my God.
03:08Oh, my God.
03:09Yes, I did.
03:10I have a suit here for the rest of my life.
03:11Oh, right.
03:12Yeah, you got a present.
03:18Yeah, I had a blast on this movie.
03:20Sure.
03:21I had a four-inch dash on the top of my head.
03:23That is in the shape of a thunderbolt, by the way.
03:25No way.
03:26No way.
03:27Right.
03:28I went to the hospital.
03:29That night, my wife met me there.
03:30And she looked at it once they put staples in my head.
03:33And my wife was like, it looks like a thunderbolt.
03:36And my doctor was like, what's the thunderbolt?
03:38And my wife was like, he's in a movie called The Thunderbolts.
03:40But you had the staples in your head, though, and you didn't put any, like, anesthetics or, like, no painkillers.
03:45Yeah, can I go back to the staples?
03:46Yeah, they literally, like, straight up.
03:48They asked him how badass, yeah, here's how badass.
03:50Yeah.
03:51Goes into the doctor, and the doctor's like, I can give you a shot to make it less painful.
03:54He's like, just staple it up.
03:56Staple it up.
03:57Well, yeah, I have gotten staples before.
04:01The shots are actually, they take 30 minutes for the novocaine.
04:05And I'm like, oh, let's just fire him off and let's go.
04:10And it doesn't hurt as bad afterwards.
04:12And then, you know, it's easier to go back to work the next morning because you're not, like, novocaine-ed up and whatever.
04:17I did.
04:18However, Tommy, my assistant, when I got up from a scene and I went back to go to my chair, he was like, where are you going?
04:25And I was like, going to my chair, he's like, your chair is that way.
04:29Yeah.
04:30Okay.
04:31Most likely to take the lead in a crisis.
04:37I'm going to go him because he helped in that crisis.
04:40Yeah.
04:41Oh, David.
04:42Oh, David.
04:43Oh, David.
04:44Oh, David.
04:45Oh, David.
04:46Oh, David.
04:49David was the one who was like, stay down.
04:52You're the first face I saw where I was like, I don't know what happened.
04:57And I see David's face like, oh, God, like, stay down.
05:01He went and got me a Coke and an orange because I was going to pass out.
05:05Anyway, fun story.
05:06Most likely to make everyone break during a serious scene.
05:14I love how our answers are like, no one.
05:16Yeah.
05:17No.
05:18We're very bad at these games.
05:19Yeah.
05:20I mean, you weren't intentionally trying to do it, but you got me the most.
05:24Yeah, I was.
05:25So dry.
05:26I'm going to say you.
05:27I'm going to say you.
05:28A lot of dry humor.
05:29It's so dry.
05:30Yeah.
05:31That came out.
05:32Yeah.
05:33For sure.
05:34Yeah.
05:35I still think there's lines of yours that are the funniest.
05:38Is this a spoiler free interview?
05:43Yeah.
05:44Soft boiled.
05:45Yeah.
05:46Most likely to improvise on set.
05:49Hmm.
05:50Hmm.
05:51Yeah.
05:52Yeah.
05:53Yeah.
05:54I was waiting for it.
05:55You're waiting.
05:56Okay.
05:57Most of my lines are not in this group.
05:59He's a part of the movie.
06:00I would say him and I'm going to take a little ownership of that too.
06:03Yeah.
06:04Yeah.
06:05Back here.
06:06He said his name.
06:07I don't think this is a spoiler because it's in the trailer.
06:09Yes.
06:10And I just said, what?
06:13I'm Lexi Shostakov.
06:16The Red Guardian.
06:19What?
06:20That was genius.
06:21That was genius.
06:22I do have a question about technique of improvisation.
06:25I'm just a sort of a vomit out anything that's in my head.
06:30You seem a bit more calculated.
06:31Like maybe between take, you'll think of the funniest thing.
06:34Oh, you're not thinking about anything between takes?
06:37Not at all.
06:38My brain shuts down completely.
06:40Where's the coffee is on my brain.
06:42And then immediately when we roll, things just come out.
06:46Plan and prepare and are like a real actor.
06:49Yes, I'm actually a real actor.
06:50Yes, I'm actually a real actor.
06:51That's interesting.
06:52Do you have a SAG card?
06:53I don't know.
06:54That's supposed to be here.
06:56Most likely to forget their lines.
06:59I got news for you.
07:04No one, I don't think.
07:06I don't?
07:07Feels like every, do you not agree with that?
07:09No, I think you agree.
07:10I think everyone was very prepared.
07:12You know, you have to be because there are a lot of elements, in case you hadn't noticed,
07:17going on in these movies.
07:19And it feels pretty disrespectful if you're not bringing your A-game, right?
07:23Right.
07:24I mean, there's so, you know, so many departments.
07:27Everyone's firing on all cylinders.
07:29So, learn your lines.
07:32Everyone in the whole crew and outside of the crew has been thinking about it for months and years.
07:37Yeah.
07:38Yeah.
07:39Spent a couple days learning your lines.
07:41Yeah.
07:42Yeah.
07:43Most likely to attempt the most dangerous stunts.
07:48Oh, Lauren.
07:49Lauren.
07:50Yeah.
07:51Lauren.
07:52She jumped off the second tallest building in the world.
07:54Wow.
07:55That counts for something.
07:56Absolutely.
07:57Yeah.
07:58None of us were there.
07:59Yeah.
08:00So, we didn't believe her either until we saw the footage.
08:03Apparently, she did it.
08:04Yeah.
08:05Yeah.
08:06Most likely to read up on fan theories.
08:10Confess.
08:11Go ahead and just confess.
08:12Don't worry.
08:13Anna, go ahead.
08:14Not me.
08:15It's not me.
08:16I don't read.
08:17I do.
08:18I don't read.
08:19No, honestly, I don't.
08:20I...
08:21Because I just enjoy, like, my day at work and filming and doing it and being present.
08:24I don't look and see and read reviews and try and, like, kind of narrate and navigate,
08:29you know, any excitement other than being with my co-stars in a Marvel movie.
08:36Hmm.
08:37I'm going to just take the reins because I don't know that I'd tell anyone this.
08:40Why would I ever admit that to my friends?
08:42Like, they...
08:43I'm a loser.
08:44No, I'm admitting it now to the world.
08:46But I did find that, like, when we started this movie, I mean, one of the most interesting
08:51journeys of this movie is that when they even sent me the script and told me the list,
08:55it's, like, a ton of great actors.
08:57It's a ton of great, um, a great director.
09:00It's a really interesting script.
09:02And yet, in the universe, you're like, where's, uh, where's Captain America?
09:08Where's Iron Man?
09:09Where are the people that matter?
09:11Like, who the hell are these people?
09:13And why should I see this, this outlier movie?
09:16Way to sell it.
09:17I know.
09:18Right?
09:19But hold on.
09:20Wait till I turn it around, Julia.
09:22Wait till...
09:23Hang on!
09:24I gotta...
09:25It's a three-act play.
09:26All right.
09:27We're only in the middle of the second act.
09:28We're at the height of the drama here, where it's like, don't go see this movie.
09:32David Robert's telling you, don't go see...
09:34And then I tell you this.
09:36When we started releasing these trailers, uh, and people started seeing the dynamics between
09:43us, they started seeing the complexity of the story.
09:46People started, against their own better judgment, being like, I think I want to see this movie.
09:52Yeah.
09:53They themselves seemed embarrassed about it.
09:55And that was what I found so gratifying about this entire experience.
09:58Yeah.
09:59Is that we're not relying on...
10:00We knew we had to make a great movie.
10:02Correct.
10:03Right.
10:04We had to show up.
10:05And so we couldn't rely on somebody going like, it's good enough.
10:08Yeah.
10:09We had to go like, no, no, no.
10:10We're going back in.
10:11We're going to rewrite this script.
10:12We're going to rework this version.
10:13Right.
10:14We're going to make it funnier.
10:15We're going to make it smarter.
10:16We're going to make it more emotional.
10:18And every day of this movie, we did that.
10:21I think the movie stands, uh, stands up in the MCU because of its quality.
10:26And, uh, that's what has been so gratifying when I do watch, you know, there are these YouTubers out there that do these fan reaction videos to trailers and things like that.
10:36And it is so beautiful to watch an angry at the MCU YouTuber, like rail against how horrible it's all become, watch a trailer and just at the end go, looks okay.
10:51And that's sort of what, you know, what I love.
10:56And so I did get into a little bit of that.
10:58Most likely to fan out over another superhero.
11:02I mean, yeah, I was into this with me, Geraldine, but I do feel like we were the first newcomers in this whole thing.
11:10Yeah.
11:11So we were, I mean, I was trying to play it cool, feeling like I was stepping on some of the most superheroes.
11:16Yeah, yeah, yeah.
11:17Comic-Con was crazy.
11:19Comic-Con was crazy.
11:20I was freaking out a little bit.
11:21A lot of real life superheroes.
11:22Yeah.
11:23Crazy.
11:24Most likely to be featured on a Wheaties box.
11:27Oh, man.
11:29Everybody.
11:30There you go.
11:31This is a universal.
11:32Actually, we're on part of the Wheaties box.
11:34But not much of it.
11:35It's really these guys.
11:36Yeah.
11:37Plus, plus.
11:38Yeah.
11:39You guys are on the bottom, right by the clip.
11:40Yeah, we are.
11:41Just a little clip picture of you guys waving.
11:43Most likely to ask for one more take.
11:50I'll be Jake wherever he is.
11:52One more take.
11:54Mmm.
11:55Yeah, there you go.
11:56You got it.
11:57We did.
11:58Mmm.
11:59Mmm.
12:00Yeah, it's Jake.
12:01It's Jake.
12:02It's Jake.
12:03I'll take it.
12:04Really?
12:05You think so?
12:06No, I don't.
12:07There you go.
12:08I don't believe.
12:09How about this?
12:10Can I be a little bold here and do this?
12:11Does anybody like that in the Sentry Tower?
12:13Yeah.
12:14Oh, yeah.
12:15Like that?
12:16It feels kind of aggressive.
12:18It feels kind of like, get in there.
12:19I feel like I'm being bullied.
12:20I'm not going to point it out.
12:21I'm being bullied right now.
12:22Most likely to be a superhero in real life.
12:27Aww.
12:28Can't we all just be superheroes?
12:29Yeah, Mike.
12:30We hold hands and like, we've got it in the middle.
12:31Yeah.
12:32Look at this.
12:33Yeah.
12:34Yeah.
12:35Yeah.
12:36Yeah.
12:37Good ball.
12:38Yay!
12:39Yay!
12:40Yay!
12:41Yay!
12:42Yay!
12:43Yay!
12:44Yay!
12:45Yay!
12:46Yay!
12:47Yay!
12:48Yay!
12:49Yay!
12:50Yay!
12:51Yay!
12:52Yay!
12:53Yay!
12:54Yay!
12:55Yay!
12:56Yay!
12:57Yay!
