00:00I'm outside the Runcorn and Hellsby by-election count hall where we just saw Sarah Pochin win a historic victory over Labour's Karen Shaw.
00:09It's been held by Labour for more than 40 years and she overturned a majority of 15,000 votes.
00:14The people of Runcorn and Hellsby have spoken.

00:25Just six votes separated Pochin from Labour's Karen Shaw after a nail-biting recount.
00:30Outside the count hall, anti-Farage protesters gathered throughout the night, accusing Reform UK of fuelling division and anger.

00:42But the protests didn't dampen celebrations inside as Reform UK secured another MP in Parliament,
00:48a blow to Labour and another challenge for the Conservatives after a bruising night at the polls.
00:53With a majority this tight, both parties will be asking what went right and what went wrong.
00:58But tonight it's Reform celebrating a historic upset here in Runcorn and Hellsby.
